You use the higher of two horror factors. Same way if say, Death (HF 19) casts armor bizzare (HF 16 or so for him), you'd still roll HF 19, you don't roll seperately for each HF.

I allow the HF to stack in my games my brother happens to be playing a Wolfen gunslinger and the HF has worked out just fine.
In witch book dose it say that they do not stack it won't change how I play but I do like to know what rules I am breaking if one of you could tell me that would be appreciated thank you

I don't know but off the top of my head the Russian Demon slayer gets a plus 13 HF vs lesser demons and a plus 9 vs greater demons

I kinda like the idea of having to make multiple HF rolls though, especially if there's no clear way for multiple HFs to create a higher HF in some way.Nekira Sudacne wrote:You use the higher of two horror factors. In most of my games, HF is completely irrelevent sinse the GM always forgets to call for the roll. I've fought the horsemen in two or three different games and we didn't roll HF once.

"Holy crap, Doug, it's an 8-foot-tall wolf-man!"
"Don't be such a baby, Bo- OH CRAP, HE'S A GUNSLINGER!"
Yeah, I can see two rolls.

Yeah, I can see two rolls.
I think the rolls are dependent on the situation. For example, the response to:
"AUGH!!! You're not my Grandma!"
Would be to roll HF as a wolfen. but, the response to:
"run! It's 2-gun Lassie!!"
Would be to roll HF as a gunslinger
