In the power Control the void, it says you use gravity wells, black holes and interstellar Gateways without codes to jump from one location to another. It also says they can be any size. It also says can ease the passage thru black holes or a dimensional siphon

My question is this: Can you use this power to open or close rifts in Rifts Earth? Or to control where he comes out?

I would say probably not. These kinds of wormholes are usually (according to most science fiction) shortcuts between two points in the same universe. I would rule that deliberate travel wouldn't be possible via this method.

However, there is nothing preventing the GM from using this sort of travel ability to shunt people around the Megaverse. It could easily become a way to get a party to a new place due to 'irregularities in space-time' or 'an unexpected wave of mystical backlash'.

No, because rifts aren't black holes or interstellar gateways or gravity wells. The power doesn't apply to them.

I would say that while all blackholes may be rifts (at least in the Phase World setting) not all rifts are blackholes.

That sounds like intergalactic travel but remaining in the same dimension.

Where are Palladium rules for black holes anyway? Thought they weren't addressed.
