Off Topic, but good anyway

First off, this is Star Wars related, but it gives a good indication of how the RDF and REF would interact with air/ space/ ground/ mecha/ infantry/ police roles...it is pretty well done, I give it a 4.75 out of 5! The first episode is like what peacekeeping would be, the second episode is more of a space assault with mecha.

Great series....waiting for more of them.
I know it is a little extreme to advocate the death penalty for stupidity...but can't we just remove all the warning labels and let nature take it's course???

I really like the "nuts and bolts" aspect, the look behind the scenes. Also it's great to see the perspective of the Imperials, that's quite lacking in the movies.

It's the TV Show _Cops_ only with Imperial Stormtroopers. Like _Cops_ it hurts to watch, but gods above, it's funny. Production values are AMAZING.

The only thing that they should have added in the second episode, is fighters to escort they drop ship down. Not smart of them to do that.

They may have had aerospace dominance via orbital CAPs with TIE fighters? In the first part of the first episode it shows they have TIE patrols out pretty much constantly, rather like modern carrier groups. If that is the case, then they would have some air support in the vicinity. Additionally, with overhead intel (recon flights, radar, etc.) anything that were going after the dropship would have (most likely) been seen prior to that and thus air could be vectored in to screen/protect. Also, I suppose that the spacecraft in orbit could be used as a sort of orbital air-defense platform firing down turbolasers onto airfields and incoming aerospace craft (if the EU stuff is to be believed...it is that accurate), or rain down some anti-aircraft proton torpedoes/concussion missiles (like Surface to Air Missiles, but in reverse? Maybe Space to Air Missiles?)

My favorite part was the door gunners/rappelling out the AT-ATs....even as a kid, I ALWAYS thought the stormtroopers got a bad rap...

Considering the fact that they didn't do too badly storming the Tantive IV, and the breach and assault of Hoth was pretty sweet (except for the lack of air support, regardless of what I wrote previously :x ) excepting the loss of some AT-ATs...

I still think they should have had some close air support. But the rest was great.

That is not help you can get right away. If the fighters are right there, then they can help right that second.
