POH 2015 attendees Nationality

I´m planning to attend POH 2015 and I would like to know where the other people who is going to attend is coming from? Am I the only one from South America? Will I be the first one from that part of the world in a POH ever?

I have made a poll including all the continents (well, not Antartica because the RIFTS book is not out yet  ) and in several cases I have specified the countries based on Kevin´s words in a video of the last Open House (he mentioned several countries) and some more of the big ones like Brazil.

I hope you find this new topic fun, informative...and please vote. Thanks.

If I come I'll be English.

If I don't come I'll still be English but then I shouldn't be posting in this thread.

North Dakota for me and a friend, maybe two. And someone coming from Africa, that is a shock to me. Didn't think we had any fans there.

To me, too. Perhaps South Africa? Only the person from Africa can answer this.

They are contained in "Asia (other)". I assumed there are no PB fans over there but who knows...that´s the reason why I made this thread...we already have a surprise with Africa! and you can count me, as another one (the only one from South America so far).

That is a pretty major judgement to assume not one person in the Middle East may be into Palladium. Pretty sure there are still a variety of people there and I'm sure that there are people who know and love Palladium Books there.

Considering distribution and shipping I think it's safe to assume 98% of anyone from the Middle East who knows Palladium is a North American or European Ex-Pat.

You are right and that is the reason why I included Asia (other) but I found it unnecessary to separate that entry into different countries (I am really no expert in that region also).

I won't cast an official vote until it's 100% confirmed I can attend (I don't want to skew the results), but if I do manage to get there then you'll have a few more Canadian fans there. I live about 35-45 minutes, or so (kind of depends on traffic and where in Toronto I would be heading), east of Toronto.

It would be me, my wife, maybe our oldest daughter since she plays now too, but probably leave the youngest with her Papa (grandfather) for the weekend. Is there a lot of kids that come and play ? Wow, just realised by 2015 open house she would almost be a teenager (I assume it's in May again?) because her birthday is in July.

So there is my unofficial vote, lol.

Last Open House, there was a young boy there with his parents. I may be bringing my oldest with me the next time.

I brought my little kids last time. I'd rather not do that again.

That's why I was thinking of just bringing my oldest. She will be almost 13 so not really a "kid" anymore and she likes to play Rifts so she won't be bored. The little one would like the adventure and enjoy being in a new place and exploring, but I think it'd be best if she stayed with grandpa for the weekend.

First, there was a vote from Africa...then one from Asia (Other) and now one from Argentina but the two others are gone...weird!

Talked to a couple of expats at GenCon who knew about the open house and are planning on flying in from Kuwait. I do know we've had some Aussies there in the past (at least one was the board member gmask).

Me, I'll likely be making my usual trek from Missouri.

I will be running mainly Robotech - Shadow Chronicles & Macross era. Maybe Phase World as well. Plan to run at least 3 or 4 sessions. I doubt that I will bring my Tactics pieces as there will be many other more experienced then me to run demos of it.

I still hope we can have a few good panels on GMing and game creation this time.

I have an awesome BTS game planned out (awesome IMO) and a Wolfen Wars type siege adventure for PFRPG in idea form. But there's nearly two years to plan others.

I would like to do a special celebrity Rifts adventure were the freelancers & artists play the game in front of an audience (& tape it for youtube). Just like the DnD PAX games. But maybe Im not familiar with Rifts to do that. Then again I did say two years....
