What hand to hand combat moves does Character start with at first level for Hand to Hand: Basic, Expert, Martial Arts, Assassin and so on?...
What i'm talking about for example does the character automatically know all the hand and foot strikes attacks at first level? No. they start off with the basic set of moves and gain more as they level.
As a reference what book and page number can i find this information?
I have look at N&SS, RUE and many of the core megavers rules. I might be misunderstanding some stuff please help and explain what combat moves does a Character start with.
Thanks

Full Punch and whatever else the HTH or MAF says it has.
Normally, a GM will let a player make a described attack if they actually write it out.

I thought the starting maneuvers were listed with the skill at the top of the leveling chart.
in any case, I let players attempt all kinds of things. say you wanted to body flip but you don't have it yet. I let them roll but only apply PP bonuses. their natural talent comes into it, but their h2h bonuses don't as they haven't got proper training.
if course, the limits are subject to approval, and the effects can vary (a jumping spinning back kick with no training? yeah, no...)

Maybe we should start with what moves someone who has no HtH at all can do, and then look at what forms add to that.
I figure they can do a Parry and a Dodge still, and a basic punch. Not sure what else.

As well as the damage that said moves inflict when performed. I know that several of the H2H skills modify the damage that a punch does at certain levels, or certain physical skills alter or add a kick strike...

standard punch is 1d4, I think an untrained kick would do 1d6 if allowed. pretty sure trained kicks range from 1d8-3d6.

If you were making a called shot to the foot or knee, booting a gnome, or stomping someone who fell down, sure.
An untrained person probably can't deal any decent power the torso of someone standing up of their own height though, they would not have the technique for it. 1d4 for an untrained kick to the main body would be fine with me. A knee on the other hand, I might give 1d6, since you don't need as much technique or flexibility for doing it.
