Thanks. I'm going more for the anime look than the realistic "Battletech" type look. I'm not doing shading but I'm giving them the black outline as seen in the show. I'm very happy with the way she turned out. Now on to the pods. :)

As reference I scanned the internet for pics, looked at the painting guide in the rule book and watched the Max/Miriya fight scene freezing on her to see how they originally colored the mecha. Apart from some minor coloring inconsistencies I came up with the paint scheme you see. I used the following paints:

Grey VMC 70.866 Grey Green
Green VMC 70.881 Yellow Green
Yellow VMC 70.915 Deep Yellow
White Americana Snow (Titanium) White
Black Citadel Abaddon Black (because I had it)

The lines were done by hand with Pigma Micron Waterproof Inks of various sizes. I'll use the same technique on all of the RRT models: give the model a coat of Future after all painting is completed, use the pens and cleanup errors with lacquer thinner. Coat again with Future after inking, apply decals after Future dries (I gave it 24 hours to be sure), then 24 hrs after that apply dull coat of your choice. Stay away from Testors, it yellows with age. Krylon artist stuff works well as does Army Painter Matte coat (if its fresh)
