Favorite Recent Palladium book

WHAT is your favorite Palladium book that has been RECENTLY published?

WHY is that one your favorite recent Palladium book?

I am going to let you decide what is recent. I am thinking "past 5 years", but you may feel "past 10 years" or even "past 3 years" is how you want to define "recent".

If your favorite recent book is a Rifter issue, that's cool too!

Hmm, I'd say its a tie between the Bizantium book because it has my name on it :D
and Megaverse in Flame (simply awesome in artwork and story).

Rifts Lemuria, Northern Gun 1&2.

They are all amazing pieces of work and the Megaverse Insider options were super cool...they made me a part of the RIFTS Universe. Oh, and did I mention the art from Chuck?

Chaos Earth Resurrection, loving that book! Planning on running an Origins event based on the book. Love the story, design, and art work, win all around.

That's hard because I think a lot of their best stuff has been put out in the last 5 years.

Hard choice, but Lemuria is my favorite.

I like the background information, I like the way it's written, I like the races and classes. The art is great, and the Bio Armors are very cool. This book had it all for me. Even has my favorite Dragon type now.

But I liked Thundercould Galaxy, Hades, Dyval, Dimensional Outbreak, and Bizantium all a lot.

Northern Gun 2, it has the Prophet, my current favorite powered armor...

Chaos Earth resurrection, just a cool reimagining of a zombie plague...

Come to think of it, hat's off to Carl Gelba for the solid work on the minion war series. I thought it was brilliant.

I am thinking about asking for some Rifters in a Christmas Grab Bag. Anyone have favorite recent Rifters? (aka past 5 years) What makes it a must have? Any particular Rifter getting used a lot at the table?

Hard to choose. I started out on Robotech but Rifts is pretty darn cool. When i started back up again i got The NGR& Triax Book. Phase World is another fave. I would like to get the old printing of Robotech: Sentinels again as that by far brings back so many memories. The newer books confuse me with the titles and i dunno call me old fashioned when it comes to Robotech.

Chaos Earth: Resurrection and the sneak peek of Rifts: Secrets of the Atlanteans. Both those books I had low expectations for and they really pleasantly surprised me.

Both the sneak peaks for atlantis and sovietski show some impressive things are coming. Of all the previous sneak peaks they were by far the most add art do editing and layout pass and good to go state. I am super excited to get my hands on the final versions of both of them. Product may not be flowing as fast as we could want but the products that are coming out over the last few years have been top notch quality wise.

The last one I got was Rifter 70 due to how Palladium is treating their investors in the RTT kickstarter. I know I've seen a couple books since then that I'd like to get, but PB needs to at least come clean with their investors about what they've done and who they've talked to with the project before I start buying books from this company again.

Petty tyrants thrive when they have authority backed by vague regulations.

Robotech Expeditionary Force Marines. I have been waiting for the Sentinels aliens since Shadow Chronicles came out so that alone would make it my favorite. All the new mecha are amazing and most are surprisingly effective in a planet hopping campaign, the description of which is another one of the reasons I love this book.

The best part of this book though is the Marine OCC's, especially the STORM team OCC and MOS training for the other OCC's. This means you can create a STORM team of several different OCC's.

I really like Byzantium and it is my favourite recent book for much the same reasons as Jimbo's. Good writing, great ideas, excellent "fluff" (which is what I like best about books), fantastic cover, very agreeable size - not one of those slim books only - and it felt like jump starting PFRPG again.

Fingers crossed another year for BTS ARCANUM and at least 2 PFRPG books in 2017!!!

I cannot agree with you more, Hendrik! BTS Arcanum would be great and as for PF, PLEASE let the two books be Old Kingdom Mountains and Lowlands.
