In addition to the Altess Advocate (DB13, p104), are there any servitor robots similar to the NG-W series (SB1) or Triax's DV series (WB5) detailed in any of the three galaxies books? If so, where?

Thundercloud Galaxy has a few colonial robots, including a robotic medic 'bot for starter colonies.

I would use the Triax models as a starting point for common worker bots.

Or Northern Gun's latest technical 'bots.

Can you think of any reason why the TE would not use robotic soldiers?

Because meat-sacks are cheaper to produce and discard when they're broken.

bingo. and you don't need skilled labor to produce more warm bodies to fill the ranks. just a big enough population and bootcamps to show them how to do the fighting.

The machines have a better labor union; they're all on assembly lines on factory worlds mass- producing cheap weaponry for the expendable meatsacks to use in combat.

Machine People don't count, because they can be generally motivated with the same threats as the regular organic spear-carriers.

That and because of the Warrior culture of the Kreeghor they wouldn't want the robots to steal the honor of killing their foes. Just look at their dislike of Power Armor and Robot vehicles.

*Note: Unless this has changed in the newer Phase World books. I am a bit behind on my collection*

The kreeghor have had PA and robot vehicles since their introduction. I don't think they stand out as tech users because their physiology makes using armor that isn't specifically designed for them difficult, and vice versa for non-kreeghor. Only the Warlord Type 1 suit has been detailed so far, but there could be quite a few more. Could make for an interesting Rifter article.

I think it is under the Kreeghor Warlord armor that it states they have a disdain for PA and the like but will use it when needed, IIRC, I don't have the book infront of me atm.

Not in the Warlord type 1 description. There's a weird throwaway line about them not liking to fly in less than an actual air or spacecraft, which is why the suit doesn't fly, but nothing about an anti-tech bias of any kind.

The flight bias might be what I was thinking of.

Yet another reason why I love the Machine
People. 8-)
