Hello every one , do any of you know of any charts for rolling up back story for pc or npcs . I have one player who basically gives me a small novel of her character , but some of my lees creative players want a bit more . So they do not feel like there character is lacking , any help would be appreciated.

You could use the knight's table.

You could look up some hero types and origins on TVtropes to add some intrigue/interest. Here are a few:

Birth: Pick one or more of the following:
Illegitimate (or secretly legitimate) offspring of (plot-relevant figure)
Orphaned by (insert faction/villain/race here)
Last of the (insert tribe/clan/noble family)
Blessed/cursed/marked by the Gods with some sort of unusual cosmetic feature.

Upbringing: The Noble family background from the Knight O.C.C. is good, though you might also consider these:
Ward of a noble house (could be a hostage from a rival family or orphan child of a dead peasant/man-at-arms)
Raised in a religious orphanage/school
Raised on the high seas as a cabin boy
Raised by outlaws
Raised in slavery

You could use R.Talsorians background generation from any of its books. Melton or Castle Falkenstein would be the best as Mekton is generic enough to still work for a fantasy setting while Castle Falkenstein is fantasy based so...
