I remember one of the Rifters took a shot at it but it wasn't worded like it was official.
I realize the MC sourcebook came out in 94 so it couldn't have had notes in the original Rifts Conversion Book, but I'm confused why pg 51 of the Revised edition (published 2002, with PDF edition published post-RUE in 2017) didn't take a stab at the new powers and classes introduced in the Mystic China...
I don't know if part of that was to encourage purchase of the two Rifts World Books about China that Wujcik did, but while there's a lot of similarities and obvious concept recycling/adaptation, some stuff like the Fox Spirit and generic Infernal as a Reformed Demon are really different in Rifts, so it would be cool to have some official notes on how to bring them over.
Did they maybe at some point canonize the rifter conversions for these two RCCs? I always thought it seemed rather powerful, especially giving MDC to enlightened immortals (I don't think they really need it, they can just be reborn if they get squished)
canon MDC conversions for Mystic China in Rifts?

I see a lot of argument bait.
But I see only one question, and the answer is No.

May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.
Each question should be give the canon answer 1st, then you can proclaim your house rules.

Rifts only seems to have some kind of evil fox.

There is no official conversion means there is no conversion. Which means if the GM allows them in his or her game because they are from a different game, you play them as is...as Chi/SDC beings.

Re: canon MDC conversions for Mystic China in Rifts?
Most of the " "optional" " conversion notes in Rifter 3 are quite reasonable. The Martial Arts powers from Mystic China aren't given quite the increase N&SS powers received in the Conversion Books, and the spell conversions generally limit potential exploitative situations such as non-converted geomancy might otherwise suggest. Generic Infernals size up pretty well in comparison with WB24's Lesser Demons, provided one converts some Chi in the manner described in MC, and perhaps makes a special ability selection available by default. The section on Enlightened Immortals, however, is so over-the-top as compared with NPC descriptions in WB24 that its inclusion arguably undermines the rest of the article.

yeah, that mistability is partly why I'm struggling to understand the effects of SDC depletion on these HPless beings in their two physical (fox/human) forms, or chi depletion in all three forms...
