SA1: Definition of TW-Cell and E-Cell?

Manoan techno-wizard weapons are powered by a TW-Cell: "Flamer" pistol and "Fireball" gun, p91-92. I'm assuming that's the "TW-energy cell" described as beyond PC replication on p91.

The stun weapons mention an E-Cell, but those are the only two mentions of it in SA1. ETA: The stun weapons are based on the Agony spell. Is E-Cell defined somewhere else, is it a typo for TW-Cell, or is it just hanging out there?

They may have meant either E-clip or TW-cell. All really depends on if the weapon in question is a TW-item or not.

The stun weapons are both based on the Agony spell, so I'm leaning TW-cell.

Book of Magic, p312-313, revised these weapons' power source! They are now listed as the TW-P.P.E.-Clip for the Flamer Pistol and P.P.E.-Clip for the other three.

I think we can safely assume the TW-P.P.E.-Clip/ TW-/P.P.E.-Clip/TW-Cell/E-Cell mentioned are all the same thing. Which is kinda cool: A TW weapon, useable by mundanes, the clip chargeable by anyone who can focus PPE, and with the ability to power individual shots by burning PPE directly.

I would honestly not assume that last part, as they've made it clear as glass that TW-clips cannot be charged by anyone other that specialists trained in their secrets, which they to not let everyone have. letting non-casters use them might be more of a matter for the weapon than the cell though, i recall the new west TW guns making a point of anyone being able to fire them once charged.

Nope, not the same thing, it says so in the texts the OP points out with the no PC replication.
But they all DO the same thing, store PPE for that culture's style of TW magic items.

And No, 'Do' and 'Are' do not mean the same thing. So don't go arguing I'm nit-picking semantics as if to dismiss what I brought up.

i forget what those are. ....is that the TW stuff that needs to be charged at a stone pyramid?
