Techno-wizard Power Armour
This device, arguably the pinnacle of the techno-wizard’s art, provides intelligence, protection, offence, mobility and utility functions. There are many variants of appearance, most of which resemble suits of plate armour made of gleaming crystal, though the famously beautiful and body-proud Wendelyn Wordmore, aka Wendelyn the Weird, created one that consists of little more than gems and a metal filigree body stocking.
The helmet, goggles or other eyewear provides the Eyes of the Wolf to the wearer.
Fly as the Eagle and Superhuman Speed enhance the wearer’s mobility when desired.
The user can Call Lightning at will, project Fire Bolts and throw out Magic Nets. Each such use counts as a single attack, and the armour also provides Superhuman Strength at will.
The armour provides 150 MDC; when damaged, casting Armour of Ithan and spending 100 PPE will fully repair it. In addition, it provides Breathe Without Air constantly and is Impervious to Fire as per the spell.
Finally, the armour can generate a Chameleon cloak, and cast Globe of Daylight, both on demand.
All functions are either at-will or constantly active, and cost no PPE to use. Where applicable, the armour’s functions are cast at sixth level.
Creating the armour requires five months of steady work, and 350,000 credits in parts and materials, including the needed gems. On the open market, such a suit will cost at least 500,000 credits and most likely will need to be commissioned, and on the black market, if one is available at all, will cost not less than 1.5 million.
