Rifts Fiction (Where was it again?)

Hi there,

I remember reading some fiction, probably on these boards, but cannot recall or find it. The characters were mostly CS agents working undercover (Disavowed?). I know that the CS characters interact with mages and others, and there was a nuke, and all of this was around the Great Lakes region.Another character was a young man who did not know he was an Atlantean adoptee raised in the countryside (perhaps his adoptive parents were giants or had two heads). He ends up discovering his heritage. There is even a chance I am combining two works of fiction.
