A character like Door from Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere would be kind of cool.

False Ghoul, Psi-Zombie or "Rotter" PCC

Sometimes they come back. Rarely, when circumstances and constelations align just right, the death of a psychic results in what is commonly called a Rotter. Some people think that these poor creatures just loved life too much to let it go. Others say that they are being punished for their wrongs or avenging some evil. The Rotters themselves don't even know. But the fact is that a few of them walk amoung the living, and they are very confused.

This psychic, basicly a walking , rotting body with a living mind inside, enjoys all the usual benifits and drawbacks (horror factor, non mental attributes) of Zombiedom but keeps their intellect and some (1-4) minor psychic powers.
PPE=1/2 that in life, no increase with level.

Special abilities:
Limited Immortality (as long as the body is not destroyed in usual zombie manner)
Limb remote control: 75 feet +20 feet per level(can send the hands, arm, legs fingers etc... for a walk)
Control over the insects and bacteria that live off of his or her own body (any saprophage that eats of the characters lesh becomes part of the body)
Permanant grafting of dead flesh and bone simular to necromancers' limb attachment power of damaged and lost limbs(spare parts)

Special weaknesses:
Must continualy replace lost flesh and bone with dead flesh to continue their existance, not only by grafting but also consuming dead flesh.

-----

um... that's what I've got so far. I've been tinkering with the idea for several days. I think the psychological aspect of playing that type of situation out in a group would be fun.

The Rotter sounds somewhat like the crow.

I like the idea of the Rotter. It's very similar to the True Ghost concept I had, wherein a Haunting Entity absorbs the PPE of someone right at their moment of death, essentially becoming the dead person until it is destroyed.

Check out this latest Rifter (#28 ) for the article called the Soul Tree. I sort of created a new O.C.C./R.C.C. that's kind of temporary because the abilities are granted by the Soul Tree. It's feasible that any character of any class can take the chance to strike a bargain with the tree.
Again, it's no real O.C.C. or P.C.C., but it's almost there. Especially if you become a renegade pact maker.

It's a cool concept, I think. But maybe I'm biased since I wrote it. :D

a "Entropy sponge"

fans of nodwick (http://www.nodwick.com) will understand.

an entropy sponge is a person fated to live a horrible, pathetic, pain filled life so others do not have to.

these people are effectivly immortal (they can't die, but they come very close often), and by taking this physical, mental, and emotional abuse, everyone else benefits. they kind of "suck" the evil of the world into themselves by living through it, and enduring it themselves so others don't have to.

Job from the bible would be an example of an Entropy sponge, although not a good one.

You forgot to give her Seduction. Do you automatically receive all the psychic powers listed, or do you choose a certain number at level one, and get more as you go up?

The Cult leader and the Cultists

Wow, that was a seven year bump, Gaby! Nonetheless, this is a nice thread and includes ideas which I had forgotten.

I would like to point out that Rifter #0.1 (which is now receiving a little renewed interested by the PB office staff) includes a Minor Psychic template, 3 new occupations, and a Victim Class based upon Erik's 1st edition Victims' Campaigns. There are no full new PCCs though. Also, since I last posted in this thread, there is a Proto-Stalker (like a Rifts Psi-Stalker but without the mega-damage and a slightly tweaked ISP system) in the Court of Tarot errata article.
