Rifter #8: The Guns of Suplur Gulch by Bill Coffin

Rifter #19: Fort Folsom by Todd Yoho

Those are the only two I can think of right now.

Supposedly, there is an upcoming Rifter article detailing some parasites or other creatures from the Bugs home dimension, or wherever it was they were before they got here.

14 and 16 both have airplanes and weapons circa WW2 and the Korean War that could be nabbed from Museums, airshows, etc.

It's still being printed. It doesn't get shipped out until tomorrow at the earliest. The catalog entry for it says it has something on "fleas" in Systems Failure though.

If I'm not mistaken, they are supposed to be parasitic creatures that followed the Bugs to Earth. Just as energy is the food source of the Bugs, the Bugs are the food source of these parasites. I haven't seen the article yet, so my recollection could be a little off.

I'm not sure what I can tell you about the fleas for Systems Failure. I hope you all like them.
Mike is pretty much on with what they are. There are a couple of reasons why humans shouldn't ignore them. They are dangerous to both humans and bugs, but not equally or in the same manner. They will become a new, precarious tool in the fight against the bugs.

Rock on, Zor! That is precisely the kind of plot twist I was looking for! A danger to both humans and Bugs!

Anyone read the article yet? If so, what do you think about it?

I have yet to get my copy in the mail yet.

Snagged my copy today. Definitely a great addition to the Systems Failure setting.

Thread Necromancy!!

Danger Danger!!

And damn, I forgot about this thread. Hmm, and what Rifters I have too, still packed away. So, anyone care to update the list of what articles in what Rifters? I may just have to buy those, and break my ruling again.

Rifter by setting go all the way to down System Failure.
I hate it when my mind wonders,
Because I have no idea what it will bring back with it.

I would also like to point out the added SF Flyboys OCC that was put into the Rifter.

It's around eight and a half pages long, and was my second ever publication for Palladium. It is also highly autobiographical since all of the NPCs are based on my family, and Folsom is where my family is from. Little secret: Fox Miles is me.

As to everything else, it's fairly detailed when it comes to the trading post, but a little short on real adventure hooks.

Phalanx, I've been thinking about doing some stuff for Texas, especially up in the Panhandle for Systems Failure. I really liked Fort Fulsom and it gave me some killer ideas, which is kinda what got me started.

Do you have any ideas or suggestions, or do you think it would even be worth the time and effort to send the stuff in to the Rifter?
