Dead people in China

Okay, so Rifts China 1 showed us that China is populated by millions of 'the dead and damned'. My question is, who did these people used to be?
I mean, is this the Hell EVERYONE is consigned to? Are we to assume that every person who has EVER existed is being tortured endlessly in Yama Hell? Are these people only dead Chinese? If so, why only Chinese people? What about D-Bees? Where do D-Bees go when they die, Detroit?
What are the 'rules' for ending up in Yama Hell? If these people were sinners, what sins did they commit?
Do player characters go to Yama Hell? If so, is it possible to rescue them?
Or is it like you only go there if you believe you will?

By the way, i know this topic is going to degenerate into arguments about religion and theology. Let's not kid ourselves. But would someone (Erick Wujcik maybe?) answer my questions BEFORE this thread gets locked?

This is only philosophy, but perhaps the only reason chinese hell is filled with chinese is because only chinese people lent their beliefs to that system of post-life administration.

Its the same reason Valhalla is only filled with Fabio clones...

I certainly differ with that particular opinion...
Fabio would go directly to Niflheim, do not pass go and do not collect 200 dollars lol...
But at any rate, your PC will go to whatever afterlife he/ she believes in... prolly some gweilo in the Yama Hells too, if they followed that philosophy in life...
