More Aliens Wanted

I implore the people of the forum to help me with the following:

WANTED Original Alien Races suitable for phase world campaigns.

I have many books with a wealth of aliens in it but want some more flavor, so how about it?

Post 'em here, PM them to me or E-mail them to me.

I'd prefer if you post 'em here, so everyone could use them and I'll do the same as I am designing some of my own.

And to answer a question I know would be asked: "No, I do NOT have Aliens Unlimited but I am in the process of obtaining it."

Thanks in advance.

there's a table/system in the Phase World book for rolling up Aliens randomly. Sorry I haven't used it. I just use the various Dee-Bees from Rifts, since basically that's what they are.

Yes, I am aware of the Table, but thanks anyways :ok: . I too will be using D-Bees from Rifts but I also want more original creation.

Personally, I don't think that table creates to many interesting creatures unless you severly expand on it, which it is then easier just to forsake the table and do it yourself.

EDIT: Have Skraypers and Dark Conversions also. But thanks anyways. :ok:

I personally did not like Aliens Unlimited because all the aliens in it are humanoid animals, plants, and stones. The aliens section is even set up so that there are a number of groups that aliens get put into, which are, feline, canine, ape, human, aquatic (fish), mineral, and plant. I have by no means read every description in the alien section, but from what I did read the aliens just didn't seam as aliens as I would have liked. They just seamed like mutated animals, humans, plants, and rocks that that got pressed into a human mold and sometimes given super powers.

PS I don't mean to offend anyone who liked the aliens in AU, this is just my opinion.

Actually I agree... it was like TMNT meets HU... it could have been different. Oh, well...

THANKYOU Sensorium!!!

That is exactly the kind of thing I don't want. What you described sounds like aliens that are "Earth Centered," and I don't want that.

You may have saved me $20.

I'll disagree with ya! :D Your point is well made and can't say I disagree. However from a game designers point of view and I'm just curious. How many of you would actually play something thats not a humanoid? For example how many have played the Monro (sp?) from DB3, or the Nixie from 3G or even a Vacuum Wasp? I just ask because when writing Three Galaxies I thought if I made some aliens that were non-humanoid would anyone really want to play or even use them? I think we tend to like the familiar...AKA humanoid. Thats why some people say the Wolfen, Elf or Dwarves are their favorite to play.

No on the flip side they would probably make for interesting villains...yes? So whats everyones thoughts on this?

I play mostly ice dragon hatchlings, wolfen fallen cosmo-knights, and tri-wolves. The only race in the Aliens Unlimited book I really liked was the latran...
