Dshifter

While I liked the Dshifter, I had some changes, so I thought I would throw the idea out there and see what changes/ideas anyone else has. If not, atleast other people see the idea and may possibly use it.

Drop the:
-blue (each chooses a color) and gas mask affinity (its a style objection)
-powers of: phase shift, heavy md, energy form, and shift location (there are just too many travelling powers to be useful)

-new power list: energy expulsion (I havent dropped this but it isnt really necessary to the new feel), learn magic by feel (can teach to other spellcasters who learn by feel), shift through time, shift to light (should probably increase the flight speed and add a laser blast with double normal damage and range for no PPE)
-starting spell list: re-open portal, close rift, time slip, summon familiar.

This is a basic version of the shifter, linking themselves to magic instead of 'the supernatural' - who could become a shifter with more training. What you end up with is someone who has connected themselves to magic, resulting in becomming lesser creatures of magic. They can trevel through dimensions (astral travel), time (time slip & shift time),or space by shifting to light (used for combat as well), even learn magic by feel feeling the spell as others cast it.
