Phase World: Why are there humans in the TGE?

Unread post by Braden Campbell »

There are humans living, working, and fighting with and for the TransGalactic empire. Why?

I mean, i never much thought about until recently, but why in the blue hell would humans ever submit to Kreeghor rule? And more importantly, why would the CCW let that happen?

I have an idea as to how this came about, which might also give us clues about the spread of humanity throughout the 3 Galaxies...but I'd like to hear some ideas from you guys first.

The same reason there are Wolfen and everything else.
They were living on conquered planets.

That was my thinking. that for the first few 4000 years or so, humans were crawling around the Corkscrew Galaxy using sleeper ships and sublight engines. Then we meet the Noro, get warp drive, and explode onto the scene.

I mean, humans make up 12% of the population of the 3 Galaxies! We are everywhere, and many races hate us for it.

I was thinking that these TGE humans must be the descendants of long-lost human sleeper ships that ended up in TGE space. They were "raised" in the TGE way before the founding fo the CCW. Then the big war broke out...and surpise, surprise, there are humans fighting for the Kreeghor.

Also, the Kreeghor started off as Slave Stock of the Splugorth and built their Empire msotly at the expense of the Splugorth, so many of those human worlds probably traded the Splugorth for the Kreeghor, and consider themselves as getting a decent deal.

But the megaverse is really lousy with humans, makes you wonder where they all came from.

I think this is kinda like asking how humans can be Nazis or wife beaters. There is a good chance that a number of these humans are scum who want to work for the Kreegor...

conquered worlds part of the TGE.

Humans freed from their Splugorth master, that joined the Kreeghor to build new life. Their descendants would be more grateful to the Kreeghor for their freedom, than the CCW who probably stood by and watched, while their ancestors were sunjugated by the Splugorth and his minions

other is human nature, thet get better deal than if part of CWW. humans alignment can be "ANY".

Kreeghor arn't all Evil.

There were humans who willingly served Sauron in Lord of the Rings: there are likely groups/tribes/clans, etc. of humans who serve the TGE willingly.

Agreed.

AND with full knowledge of what they're doing.

For every Oskar Schindler in Germany, there were probably a thousand Nazi Sympathizers that helped to speed Jews on their way to the "Showers..."

Don't forget the millions of people who go about their daily lives and do noting evil or anything but work and go home to their families at night.

Every last man, woman and child are not in the military helping to plot the conquering of the three galaxies.
