Leave them to die? Send in the skelebots? What do you do?

send rescue squads... usually something between a scouting squad and a commando platoon... but remember, in an MDC world, flyboys have less oportunity to use the ol'chute... and if it's a war zone, sending a squad to retrieve a lone soldier is not exactly it... unless said individual is of exceptional importance for some reason... the reason survival skills are available is so an isolated soldier can survive while trying to rejoin his lines.

what would I do? Destory tolkeen. What..wait? Huh?

Hahahaha....

Declaire the pilot was a traitor to humanity, carpet bomb his last known location.

Send in the clowns.

I guess send in the PC's who happen to be dog boy retrievers is a good idea too.

And the serious answer: Dog boys, samas and sky cycle search and rescute squads.

Didn't one of those adventures in the Index books have a CS CSAR team in them? I think there is another example in the Aftermath book as well. However I don't have either of those books anymore to check.

Actually the CS Commando OCC does include rescue missions, which would cover this conteingency. Also it says that the CS Natutical Commadoes are patterend off of the US Navy Seals, and the Seals' original mission was to rescue downed pilots. So it's conceivable that the CSN would send Nautical Commandoes to rescue their pilots as well.

They use Dog boys and other psychics to track them down

CSAR?? I could see SAR being Search and Rescue but in the USAF the R in SAR stands for Recovery and they don't look for pilots... at least not all of them. The job of SAR is to scour the scene of a crash to locate all 'objects' related to the crash. Now they could have a version of one of America's stranger special forces the USAF Pararescue also known as PJs. How is that weirder than SEALS or Marine Reacon? They go into hot zones suspended from a helecopter to rescue people!

The coalition are like the chinese... one downed plane, billion more where they came from.

The only reason the CS would go after it is to prevent the tech from being stolen.

depending on the mission he was on, A Skelebot squad might be sent to retrieve him, or dogboys in the patrolling area. Sky cycles and the such, --- only if it was a high importance area.

No, I think the weirdest of all was these guys:

OK they are kinda weird but the PJs have got to be more nutz. "Oh there is some shooting over there. Quick lower me on the wench and we'll see if any of our guys need help." Yeah I know they usually don't go in until called, it just sounded funnier this way. :D

There's lots of 'weird' special forces units... Wouldn't suprise me if there was a Combat Vet back in WWII to handle the animals.. or a Combat Barber to trim your hair with a few rounds with an M-16A. :p
dang they don't have a bash emote so :thwak:
