Two books by Tim Powers--Expiration Date and Earthquake Weather--may be useful for those interested in the subject of Thomas Edison and ghosts. Last Call is also related to these books, but not necessary for one to enjoy them on their own merits.
Really, you can't go wrong with any of the books by Powers; Declare especially is a great source of material and ideas for a BTS scenario or campaign.
