I and my friends always interpreted it as an extra 1D6 X 10, making it 2D6 X 10, then 3D6 X 10, and so on, not 2D6 X 20, 3D6 X 30. My god, if THAT were the case, all the munchkins in my county would be playing them! Could someone please clarify this?

1D6x10 1st level
2D6x10 3rd level
3D6x10 not 3D6x30

so 2D6x10 =
if you take 1D6x10 and roll a 4, it's 40
if you take 1D6x10 and roll a 3, it's 30 for a total of 70

if you roll same 2D6 and get 4,3 then multiply x10 it's still 70, total.

But why does it say that it adds 1D6x10 at those levels and not just 1D6? It doesn't make sense to write 1D6x10 and then only use 1D6.

because 1d6x10 is a way to roll damage. if you add 1d6 to that, you'd only be doing 1d6x10+1d6

your doing the math wrong

the equation should read (1d6x10)+(1d6x10)

seperate damages added togeather.

because then at level up, it would be 1D6x10+1D6 :D

basically, what it's saying is that at 3rd level, you double the damage. then at level six, you increase it again by half.... ect.

And??

You would get a MAXIMUM of up to 2D6 X 10, or 120 Damage.

Since 1D6 X 10 equals up to a maximum of 60...

Gadrin had it rght the first time... and it sounds to me as if you're agreeing with each other without knowing it....

I would also rule that it should be played as stated above. A 12th level CK would do something like 5D6x10 MDC... more than a cruise missile.

DarkSchneider wrote:Thanks for all those answers, I think I understand now. There's still one thing that's bothering me. Do the PPE multipliers for the Cosmic Blasts stack?

Like say... I spend 20 PPE to double the number of the dice and another 100 to multiply the damage by five? I think it's unlikely but nowhere does it say that it can't be done.

What do you guys think?

no, you only get 1 multiplier.
