Heroes Unlimited -
You can't stop me, my TIME is NOW!!!
Old foes have resurfaced since they had dissappeared years ago. They threaten to to bring about a new age... by FORCE. Will the Heroes be able to stop them?
This pure Heroes Unlimited game will see the return of some long forgotten villains. Villains that have returned with previosly unknown abilities (hint). The Heroes are you! A group of mutants and other super beings that have been a team for a short time, have been tasked by their benefactor to stop these villains.
Books that will be used ... Heroes Unlimited (various editions), Aliens Unlimited, Villains Unimited and both Powers Unlimited 1 and 2. Also, as has been mentioned by Kevin Siembieda, I will be using the uneditted version of Carmen's manuscript for Powers Unlimited 3! Now, until the Open House, I will not be able to disclose ANY of the goodies found in this awesome, soon to be released book, BUT, I do plan on utilizing as much of it as possible!
Characters will be provided and as time permits, I might post snippets of them here. Most will be mutants or experiments, although one will be A Melee Weapon Master from PU2. Level of experience will probably be 3rd-5th on average. For those of you who plan on joining this adventure and have a character idea, feel free to PM/ email me and perhaps we can work something out. Location of the game setting, either Anytown USA, Chicago or possibly Century Station.
Game should end up lasting approx 3 - 4 hrs? if it looks like it will run over, we can continue in the open gaming area, or back at the hotel later on that night.
===========
Destiny's End
Setting: Heroes Unlimited - Near Future
Level: Medium - PC's to be approx 5th level - 1 Mega maybe allowed.
Materials to be Used: Pure Heroes Unlimited with additional material from PU3
Its mutant vs mutant, mutant vs human and human vs human as Epoch (Gramercy Island) has succeeded in his bid for power. North America is in the middle of WAR and Epoch is leading this battle against the Clean Genes (ie human). It seems no one is able to help. Super Powered villains across the globe are fighting against their oppressors (read humanity). Earth will not be the same even when the battles subside. Some say they might not. Enter: the PC's. A female psychic has contacted the group and seems to have insider info on how to stop Epoch. Will the PC's be up to the challenge?

What I'm running at the Open House:
Ecliptic Dawn, a BTS-2 Adventure
A game of post-modern combat infused with supernatural horror. A hostile nation has unleashed a horrific new menace upon the not-quite-our-world of 2007, and only the characters can stop it. They are a crack squad of hunter-killers dispatched on what is likely a certain suicide mission. If they succeed, they'll have saved the world, but will probably be dead. If they fail, hopefully another team can be dispatched in time...
The Chaolithic, a BTS-2 Adventure
Heroes of myth and legend walk the earth in a lost prehistoric age. The Atlantean Cataclysm has brought untold horrors to the land. Humanity is struggling against decent into a magic-poor Dark Age where the enlightenment of the Atlantean Age will be lost. It is a story as old as time playing itself out. The player characters are on the front lines in this lost era that occult scholars will one day call The Chaolithic.

What I am probably running...
Arzno: Ruins of Salvation
On a routine escort contract, our mercenary protagonists are faced with the added task of aiding the last survivors of a mission that was destroyed by a mysterious assailant. Duty, honor, fame, fortune, and intrigue all tug at the party and force them further and further into difficulty as they try to unravel the mystery.
Chaos Earth: Fall of Man
This one may look familiar, as I ran it at last year's Gen Con. I might run this one, or write a new one. Not sure yet.
NEMA has regrouped and is starting to fight back against the creatures from the Rifts. As a seek and destroy team operating in one of the dreaded Blue Zones, the player characters are suddenly faced with a difficult choice and are unable to clearly distinguish friend from foe. This gaming session will feature familiar material, as well as new characters and equipment.

Palladium Fantasy 2E: The Zealotry Resurgent
When a contract goes bad, the characters find themselves rapidly sucked into the secret war between the Guardians of Bletherad and the resurgent Zealotry. In a fast-paced adventure spanning hundreds of miles, the party must put an end to a string of assassinations and disrupt the plans of the Zealotry to whipe the Library of Bletherad from the face of Palladium.

Is there going to be a Roscoe available to play? I would love to play in this one, I've been itching to play/run a CE game since I got it.
Deific NMI,
What sort of powers/power level are you looking at for the Heroes Unlimited game. I would also love to jump in on that one. Is it going to be a serious game, or can we run the character more like a classic "four-color" style (either is fine with me).
Is anyone running a military-style (CS, NGR, Free Quebec, etc) Rifts campaign? I really want to do some squad-based, or PA piloting games. My group isn't so keen on that, so it's difficult to find time to play like that.

Probably a bit of both. I tend to run semi-serious games with humour here and there. The story itself from how I understand "4 color" is more of a serious game. I am thinking that most of the characters will be about 5th level on average. I am still writing them up. As for powers, I plan on (as stated in my HU2 thread), to use powers from HU2, PU1, PU2 and of course the uneditted manuscript of PU3. The majority of the players I will make available will be powered of some sort, ie mutant or experiment. There is Special Training PC or two I have in the works (one is a Super Sleuth and the other I cant discuss). Another PC I have in mind is a Nadien (AU) Melee Weapon Master (PU2). If you have a particular idea of a character you would like to play PM and we can work something out. I hoping to use as much of the PU3 material as possible.

I have a ton of character ideas, but I don't have PU2 (and obviously not 3), so I'll let you handle that, and I'll just get "in character" when we start. I have no problem with that, since I love HU (and superhero comics in general).
Galactus,
I'd love to join in on a Triax game. I love the Triax gear/weapons the most, so that would rock.
When do we all find out the schedule of games, so we'll know about any potential schedule conflicts. I kinda want to be available for anyone that wants to just chat, or ask questions (if there's any interest anyway), so I probably shouldn't jump into as many games as possible. Plus I want to meet as many of the Palladium new breed cranking out all these new books as I can (as well as the artists obviously).

Phase World (meets Recon)
Players are
Formation 1, a group of special forces soldiers who have turned against the Transgalactic Empire in these, the opening days of the Good Hope Rebellion. The team must infiltrate the planet's satellite control center, and hold the building for 30 minutes (while a second team in space takes over the orbiting Doombringer Dreadnought).

How did I miss this thread
I'll be running the following:
Rifts - Lost in Hades
Tolkeen is in flames and the Coalition has you surrounded and you have Malik Savant plus a group of refugees to protect. Desperate times require desperate measures, and your only recourse is to flee through the nearest Rift. Of course as an experienced dimensional traveler you expected to end up in Phase World, or perhaps even Wormwood. Instead you’ve gone from bad to worse. As you look around at the cloud-covered sky and the stench of sulfur fills your nose it becomes obvious, you’re in Hades. Only you and your band of dimensional adventures can protect the thirty or so refugees while you try and find your way out of Hades. Those with a fear of demons need not apply.
Be part of an exclusive few to get a first hand sneak peek of this summer’s release of the Minion War and its first book Hades! Don’t miss out!
Rifts -Rescue in Dyval
You are bone weary. Tolkeen has fallen, the Coalition has triumphed and to make matters worse when you last escaped from Tolkeen you ended up in Hades and just barely escaped. Now you have learned that your leader, King Creed, was also able to escape via a dimensional Rifts. However he was not as lucky as you and he was captured by the deevils and is being held in Mephisto’s Prison in the Infernal Heart. He must be rescued at any cost and you and your group have been charged with this task. Do not fail us you are our last hope!
This is your last chance to get a sneak peek at the Minion War and then you’ll have to wait till July! Be the first people ever to see Dyval and travel into its depths.
I'll also have some color maps of Hades and Dyval for those players who earn the most experience points through role-playing and good ideas.

Total change of plans. I'll be running:
Chaos Earth: Friend and Foe
It's less than a month into the Great Cataclysm and the world is in ruins. As a mixed group of civilians and National Guardsmen led by a couple of NEMA personnel, the player characters are trying to find some sign of civilization. Their search yields friends and foes alike, as the line between them begins to blur. This game features new material for Chaos Earth.
Rifts Arzno: Guarding Innocence
Work with the Arzno Mercenary Corps is steady, but not always glamorous. When a job comes up to escort the important businessman, Innocence Lassiter, to the Clarkdale Confederacy for trade negotiations, the cream of the A.M.C. crop is slow to step up. The job ends up falling on a group of second-rate misfits who have to complete the mission or risk their careers as Arzno mercenaries. This game features new, never-before-seen material for Arzno.

Holyoak wrote:PFRPG-
Only One Race Will Rule
The characters only just discovered a magical village called Brigadoon which is trapped in a nasty cycle of appearing for only one week out of every 100 years. In an attempt to help them break this cycle the characters have set out to return four blue stones which will return the village to a normal state. The party's scout is trapped in the heart of the Western Empire's capital city by an evil priestess who now controls the Stones of Time. Attempting a rescue traps the characters and part of the priestess and her henchmen in the spell of the stones.
After 200 years the characters are unfrozen only to find they are in a world overrun by the wolfen race weilding magic and rune weapons that seem to be in endless supply. Most of the human race have been annihilated and what's left have been enslaved. The elves have been made 2nd class citizens. The dwarven race has been wiped out or so it seems as have almost all other races on the known planet.
What happened and how? What of Brigadoon? Is this all a good thing? What now?
The game will consist of mid-level characters, moderately armed with magic weapons, abilities, and skills. This is not a hack-n-slash. Be prepared to roleplay and use your abilities and not your sword arms...
now that sounds like a damn fun and interesting game lol i'd love to join up for that one. will you be providing the chars or are you allowing people to make their own, and if so, what RCCs/OOCs?

If no ones interested in this well at least you can play me and kick my buttocks! };>)
So Bring your N-Gage we'll get things goign with Last Man Stnading elimination matches each day. For a winner on each day.
If the players happen to be there for all three days. I'll hold a final elimination match on sunday between the days winners for the Open House N-Gage Champion.
Otherwise we'll just have three winners.

I will be running a Rifts: Arzno game.
(Sure, I'm aware that Jason Richards will be also be running a separate one, but with a worldbook as awesome as the Vampire Incursion, the megaverse cannot be limited to just one game!)
Of course, my game will be limited to the first 10 players only, and will run for about 8 hours. (Upon request, I might consider running a second game if the demand is high enough among the attendees)
Truth be told, I'm looking forward to being a player for a change taking advantage of the gathering of so many fine Gamemasters in one place.

I'm not sure when I am running events, but outside of a Panel Talk I'm involved in, I do plan on running a game of some kind as well as hopefully get some interest in the Rifts CCG. Perhaps a tournament or something for a handful or cards.
For an RPG, I'm not sure if I want to run a Rifts, HU2, or Nightbane game. I'm probably going to run Rifts though. Anyone have suggestions?
