There's a movie comeing out (I think it's a remake actually) that reminded me of systems failure. A quick search for it will bring it up.
Not so much flying bugs that shoot lightning or anything, but the brain bugs in SF that were implanted in humans.

Previews of this movie have freaked me out for some reason. I think it's because I saw the original when I was in my young terrified of horror movies phase.
I'm gonna take my little brother to see it Friday.

I know I'm hella late in replying, but
what original? Slither was an original screenplay with an original script, not a remake of an earlier movie.

Its basically a remake (if nothing else in concept) of "Night of the creeps".

Pfft, that's like saying every vampire movie ever made is basically a remake of Nosferatu, or every outlaw movie ever made is a remake of the silent Ned Kelly

Sort of. It rips off (some might consider it paying homage to) a ton of material from Night of the creeps (1986). Zombies, slugs, and ect. But it also rips off Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956), Night of the Living Dead (1968), Shivers (1975), The Blob (1958/88 ), and Possession (1981). So it is original, just not very orignal on its own.

It doesn't really rip them off.
It's a B movie tribute... it's an homage.

Well ,To bad Hollywood is not making many originals now but remakes or the USA versions of J Horror (which I am a fan of).

Ugg I'm not. I can't stand the stream of remade Japanease horror movies that have been coming out lately.
The not really scary except for some freaky kid doing something freaky once per half hour movies get on my nerves.

You mean the Tron pic in my sig? Yeah, it's pretty cool. I've always liked Tron, and some time ago I found the complete set of Tron trading cards as images on the net. So I took one, edited it so the colours were brighter, and added the text.

It sure is. I have a (near) mint daybill (original movie poster), that I had framed.
