I did a search and surprisingly saw very little.

Is there a published version of the complete Tristine Chronicles available anywhere? My feeling is no because Palladium wants to write it as they go along but I figured I'd ask.

If not, I'd settle for as much as we have on it in the order it was wirtten.

Actually I am a little surprised this isn't a sticky.

In the game it's a super rare artifact to find a copy, let along abridged vs complete vs not missing specific pages vs writing that should be in it that's not and is in something else.

I think it would be neat if they did a suppliment on it, which featured a lot of writings, adventure hooks, locations you could find it, history of it, etc. I'd buy that.

I think it would make a good all around book that dealt with the whole continent in how it relates to that book and historical events.

Eh? I got the impersion any library in a decent sized city would have several copies.

Possible abridged versions. Abridged meaning edited to have info removed and only being made up of the pages that the publisher had.

There are numerous adventures that deal with finding missing/unedited pages.

The version found in libraries is basically the watered down version which is like a bad tourists guide to the world of Palladium. The good stuff is in the rarer versions and then of course the artifacts that are supremely rare that have text not found hundreds of years.

The Library of Blethlerad's official copy, a tenth generation copy which can't be verified, and is known to have missing sections, is just one of THIRTY different editions of the Tristing Chronicles....and LOB is foremost library of the (Known) Palladium World.

the Chrinicles are a plot device.
there are only bits as hooks for adventures or to give history to things, like the older races.

there is no one book of the cronicles, just snippets through all the books, 1st and 2nd ed.

Adam has the right of it.

While the exerts found in the books could be concidered Offical. You yourself can make more to fit in and move along your games.

There has never been anything published that specifically focused on the Tristine Chronicles, though such a book would be a damn fine idea, in my opinion. I think it should be two fold though, since Tristine isn't the only one credited with writing an accurate history of the Palladium World. Isn't there another author out there called the Chronicler? I think I read something about that a while back. He's not as widely believed as Tristine, but a lot of people think his works might be more accurate. There is also the rumor that Tristine (or the Chronicler) might actually be Lictalon, the great Elven mage from the Time of Chaos.

Perhaps someone should mention some of this to KS. He seems pretty open to good ideas right now, and several people on this thread have already stated that they would buy such a book. Add my vote to that category.

There is also the drawback that several "actual" copies of the TC in the PF world that to every possible test the sages can come up with *are* actually excerpts from the TC, but contradict each other!

So, if Kev & Co were to print the actual TC, would they print all versions? Or just one that may or may not be accurate?
