Hey Braden, can we take it then that all your Blood sweat 'n tears have finally paid off?
If so - congrats!

Uh... I guess.
Maybe someone from Palladium will get back to me now...

I think your title was better, Fleets of the three galaxies.

I saw it. I'm not sure who is putting it together. But that is probably a working title! I'm sure they've been watching the stuff we've been posting closely. I'd still continue working on yours Braden. And I'd submit it too! You never know, but the first one might be rejected depending on who is doing it.

uh... dude, I submitted my manuscript back in August. That thing they are talking about is mine...
or at least, it will be in one form or another.
What we're all talking about now is a second project.

Artwork will be assigned by Kevin. I just hope it's all very cool-looking.
And no, I had nothing to do with the D-bee book. I'm currently working on Thundercloud Galaxy as well as a few little writing things for Palladium.

That is pretty cool that KS is working on art for your book! That would be quite and honor to have his material in your book!

No, no guys. He will assign the art....
The actual artists will be guys like Apollo, Mark Dudley, and soforth.

There haven't really been anything new for them for quite awhile. It'll be nice to see the three things Braden is working on!

Fleets of the Three Galaxies is a cooler title.
What is the book going to have beyond stats / descriptions for the various spacecraft?

We'll know it as the Title Braden gave it!

The actual, full title would be:
Rifts Dimension Book X: Phase World Sourcebook 2: Fleets of the Three Galaxies
So, its a good bet it will get trimmed down somewhat.

We'll still remember that title, even if it does get trimmed down a little!

Not really much difference in length, now is it? Is it that big of a deal?? Fleets... is a much more dynamic title.

Of course, putting my marketing degree hat on...
The brand is Rifts: Phase World, not Rifts: The Three Galaxies. Even though it would have been better that way.

Per the press release and this thread's title, it's "Spacecraft". But, whatever...I agree with you on what it should be called.

The one the TIE fighters came from in Star Wars...maybe.

Cause you could do a whole book on the Death Star, if it wouldn't be a major copywright violation.

Someone did a whole book on the "Deathstar". I know I've got a copy of it!

It's not too bad of a sourcebook. Not as big as you would think it would be.

I have a feeling that "spacecraft" (or "spacecrafts") is merely the working press title until they decide on the final name (be it Braden's or otherwise).
Kind of like how "Rifts: D-Bees of North America" was originally mentioned as "Rifts: D-Bees Book" in the press releases.
All merely speculation though.

I think what you are saying Josh makes sense.

I would also like to see the word "Fleets" in the title.

Yes, it does sound more prominent!

Yeah, and word of mouth doesn't hurt those sales either!

But that is the truest thing of any publications. But for myself I support it!
