Just read Anvil Galaxy. Are the Xodians mentioned in a different book?
All it mentions in this one is rumors. I need stats, dammit

The Xodians are less 'open ends' as much as 'do it yourselfers'. I like sketchy ideas that a GM can twist and tease. Cofffin gave a picture of a Xodian, some lovely sci-fi ideas that may or may not be behind them, and it's up to us to pick the ones that may or may not apply. Kind of like a Gaming 'Buffet', Here's a villain and ten creative ideas that it could be... pick the one you like the best.

that works all well and good untill the "actual" or canon stats come out, and you know they eventually will.

Perhaps right after Underseas 2 and Mechanoid Space.

Our PW sessions dont use either of these Aliens, however maybe some of Gardins stuff may just swing our GM in another direction.

I just have this almost unbreakable mental barrier that tells me: super advanced and totally alien aliens wouldn't bother to deal with us.
I'm not even sure what we would fight them over. What could Humans and the the pear-shaped beings from the silicate-amonia world of Htheyf-nskdjhf possibly have in common? No way we are going to fight over resources, or places to live (we can't survive in their biosphere, nor they in ours).
I guess that leaves "because they are different" as a reason.
