Part 2 of 2: What else is there to do in Taylor?

Part 2 of 2: What else is there to do in Taylor?

Unread post by Chaos »

Well a couple months ago I got the green light for attending from my wife, always good to have permission :ok: anyway heres the thing she wants to me enjoy the entire week end and not miss out on anything but she herself doesn't want to go to the Open House, I may be able to talk her into a ticket at the door for one day but even then she won't stay long :( I want her to enjoy the trip as well she won't have anyone with her and I'm afraid she will get bored. She doesn't have a license so shes limited to relying on me and taxi trips while there. I addressed the issue of other people she might be able to do things with in "Part 1 of 2: Anyone got people going but not attending?", but I am also needing to know what things she might enjoy doing while there.

So anyway questions are:

1. What is Taylor like (big/small etc)?

2. Are there any good malls/shopping centers close by?

3. Are there any local attractions that would be good to visit?

4. What other things could you suggest for her to do to pass the time?

Just seeing if maybe I can get her more interested in the trip (and more satisfying for her), she is making one of those for the one I love sacrifices because this is probably my only chance to ever go. It will be our vacation for this year and I want her to do more than wait for me to go to and from the Open House.

Thanks to anyone that answers in advance :ok:

Last year, my wonderful and charming girlfriend went with me. She came to VIP night (she was invited by Kevin to attend), but she didnt come to any of the rest of the Open House (except to pick me up).
She went shopping @ the mall, went to the movies, stayed at the hotel and ordered room service/delivery.

There is a Karaoke bar right down the road. Last year we joked about going, but this year, I think we should totally raid that place.
