kyle wrote:Cool, one of your faves then let me get your opinion: what are the colours you see it in? Deciding how to model the parts seems easy enough... painting the finished object, that's what I have a hard time working out.
I was thinking light yellow/white, but maybe even going into a reds/oranges/black scheme.
If you follow the Kitanni robots through all their books they design weapons arround animal/insect designs. I would color it like a snake, your favorite snake but a snake. I would keep it to greens browns and black. with a few splashes of color along the back to denote venemous snakes.

I have never read anything to that effect. But the sploogorth are not know for stealth in combat.

His single picture makes mine look so amateurish...
Sorry bud, I was talking about the SPA that Kyle posted.

Lot of talent in this forum. Several budding artist, its good stuff all around. I think it was Todd Yoho who said writers are just frustrated artist!

Looks real good so far. Very nice. As for posting the link you can even get fancy if you want and do something like this:
Kyle's SPA
Which looks like this, just ignore the spaces. I added those so you could see how the code looks.
Code: Select all

I'm really looking forward to seeing the final product. I even think the colors are cool, kind of like your looking at a schematic or some kind of scan. Very cool!! I can't wait.
