Awesome Lazlo! I'm still 5 days away from my departure, but I'm sure wishing it was today!

See you there.

Three days from departure, and buried in papers and a presentation.

Oh, but the payoff will be sooo worth it. :D

I left Oz 10am Sunday on Melbourne time, and arrived in NYC about 3 hours ago.

A couple of days to take in one of the most intimidating cities in the world, then I'm off the OH!

Awesome! Welcome (back) to the States.

See you this weekend ::grins::

I've got at least 35 pages to write over the next 2-3 days before we head out of here. Damn, this whole masters degree thing is killing me, but I'm almost done.

Wow... thirty pages myself, and I'm a senior-year undergrad. :-?

How is that fair?

now my simple papers don't seem all that bad. but then again doing a stage rendering is not a cake walk either.

And i get i will be living off caffeine for the rest of the week. between work school and the OH i don't predict much sleep for the next two weeks.

Noob. :-P

I haven't gotten more than four hours of sleep at a time in the last week. This week has been HELL, and I still have a metric ****-ton of work I have to do (school and otherwise). Then, I get to come back to more presentations and papers due the week after the Open House on top of really knuckling down and finding a job. At this point, my bloodstream is so saturated with caffeine, I make Tweak look tame, and it won't let up for the next few weeks. :-(

I'm actually looking forward to the trip up now, since I will be forcing myself to get enough sleep so as not to endanger myself or my passenger.

Good luck on your measly papers and rendering... :P

:D

EDIT: Well, I'm off to finish packing and start my migration northward. If all goes according to plan, I'll be seeing some of you Thursday, more of you Friday, and the rest of you Saturday and Sunday. Taylor or bust! :D

Well, I got done with taking physical inventory on Saturday. Had a 7 hour meeting today evaluating a possible new Point of Sale software for my store, and tomorrow I have a 5 hour meeting reviewing a multi-campus RFP. Then, I will try and revise an annual evaluation form for my students, and complete 8 evaluations for my student staff, hopefully have 5 minutes to go over it with each of them on Thursday, before I drive to MadManMike's house on Thursday night.

Oh, and I need to finish my pregen characters too. At least I have the skills done now. :?

I'm 23.5 hours from leaving. I'll arrive Thursday afternoon and be rubbing shoulders with some of you shortly thereafter!

I'll see some of you tomorrow, and some the day after!

There's a reason...and a very good one...that I have certain people in this forum blocked both here and on Facebook.

I can see an illustration of that nearly every time I come here.
