Now that it's all over, can I ask how you made the chest piece?

If that doesn't prompt you to buy it, I don't know what else I can say.
Joe the suit was magnificent! I only wish I could have been there to see it in person. You've always been a champion for Palladium. Its amazing seeing pictures of you (out of costume), the last time I saw you I think you were 17? My how you've grown up!!!!

No love for the man who almost pulled your head off with the helmet on Friday?
Man, you are a NUT. The costume was friggin amazing (though I wish camera flashes hadn't washed out the body suit... maybe someone with some photoshop skill could fix the pictures?), and getting to chat with you about the project and your previous Palladium endeavors was cool as heck.
Take some time off man, you deserve it. I think you've inspired some people to work their butts off to do something just as cool for next year. I know that after seeing all you guys and gals in costume, I decided against even stepping up (yeah, so I'm a chicken like that).
I might get some pics of the costume I had with me (an espionage agent from N&SS) just so people can see it, but no promises. Like I said, it doesn't come close to the insane amount of work you put in on yours.
Congrats on the award and the recognition... you damn sure deserve it.

Joe,
That was one bloody awesome sight to see, you strutting your stuff in full officer's regalia on Friday, and then opening the door and threatening the people in line Saturday morning! You've set a benchmark I think we'll all be striving to reach for years to come.
It was a pleasure having dinner with you Saturday night (thanks again!), and very interesting hearing you describe the way you made all the electronics work and such. Thanks for taking the time to pull that off, and having the patience to talk with all us fanboys about the process.

Beautiful Joe...just beautiful!
Thanks for letting me be one of the people to see it up close. It was an honor.

There's a reason...and a very good one...that I have certain people in this forum blocked both here and on Facebook.
I can see an illustration of that nearly every time I come here.

Re: Need to get a document out with pictures of the process
Chello!
I remember you mentioning that Monday morning when we were chatting with Kevin...It slipped my mind at the time (boy, were we jumping all over the place or what? ), but the 40/50's medieval movies used wool for the chainmail, like a knit sweater. You can sorta tell, but not really...excellent idea!
Is till say I need to get with the guys in the local chapter of the 501st (Stormtroopers) and look at some of their plastic moulding methods...

Joe, I saw the pics. They were awesome. I can't even imagine what it was like being there. Congratulate yourself on an amazing well-done job. :applause:

It was terribly impressive! In line at the OH on saturday and this guy comes strolling out of the warehouse doing his CS routine ("All psychics must be registered! No D-Bees or magic users!) I nearly shrieked like a little girl (and im a large man hehe). Made my vagabond costume look like a piece of crap!
Its been said before but bears repeating, GREAT job!
