magic modifying for BTS

Unread post by clawingwolf »

I am thinking of including a Nightbane Night Prince in my campaign, but i think he's PPE is to high for a low magic enivorment? right now its 400 from what i rolled, what modifier does any one think for converting PPE, from Rifts and other palladium gmes to BTS,?

All the characters in this game are psychics, but some enemies will have magic powers , such as this night price who has illusionary magic powers. Also i'm going to have Mano gift magic powers to his human followiers who enter into a pack with him, sort of like the Witch OCC, but different.

Yea I think proximity to ley line would juice him up more than proximity to threat. I am really looking forward to what they did with the arcanist though.

In terms of threat and power level, I'd put a Night Prince somewhere between a Sowki and a Goqua. While neither of these creatures appear in BTS2, a comparison of those creatures that DO appear in both editions shows that P.P.E. for many monsters actually went up slightly, so I'd say your Night Prince's current P.P.E. base is fine as is.
There you go man, keep as cool as you can.
Face piles of trials with smiles. It riles
them to believe that you perceive the web they weave
and keep on thinking free.
