Celestial Alignment

Unread post by lather »

No, not Celeste the vampire's alignment, actual celestial alignment in the sky.

As Venus and Saturn and the Moon trod the ecliptic, Regulus, the bright star in Leo (his front paw) has touched the ecliptic. There are some other stars as well along/near the ecliptic between Venus and the Moon. In a small city in Missouri with a lot of light "polluting" the sky, I still could see several lining up along the ecliptic. It is an imprecise straight line but could be one of those things that make you go hmm if your character is an astrologer. Depending upon your location on Earth you might be seeing something different though.

Take a look up in the sky or consult your local star chart and enjoy.

Yeah, on my way home tonight I saw Leo rearing up above the horizon like the predator he is.

Makes me proud that's my sign.

Or the king of the hill (Leo).

Leo Monkey was the name of a TMNT character of mine a long time ago. His nickname though was dumpster. He lived in one that's why.
