The only place I've used CoS was in a PF game but I would say that ....hummmm this is tricky becasue PB is a big beliver in copying and Paisting alot of their spells. And the discription in the RBoM is almost word for word the same as what is in the PF2 main book (the last sentance in the discription was structured a bit differently). But thinking about it as a cloud makes me want to belive that the ppl have to breath it in to be affected.

consevitive: if you are not the mage who cast the spell, the feild/area of slumber will put the char asleep if they enter it, even if in a PA.

liberal: if you are wearing even minimal enviomental gear, so that you are not breathing the air about you, the CoS won't affect you. Minimal Enviromental gear does not include air filters.

I would rule that a cloud is a cloud and cannot penetrate the EBA and there for cannot affect those inside. Same for giant robots, sealed vehicles, people in force fields, and those who don't have to breathe (unless they speak, cause then they are drawing air into their bodies). :D

I would agree, except for the force fields; those generally don't keep out gas.

Oh my, I had just the same though, except that I was going to point out that Tech FF can't protect aginest gasses unless they are the always on sort (in other words:Unless they specificly stat they are a barrior to gasses). So 99% of the FF out there will not protect aginest gasses.

As for holding their breath while going through it......that would give you a 50% of not needing to save vs magic, rolled each APM of the mage who cast the spell.
