Weren't a couple of them split up like that. What was the largest number of issues and article waas split up in? I don't remember, but I know that their are experts who will remember exactly.
"Your Grace," she said, "I have only one question. Do you wish this man crippled or dead?"
"My Lady," the protector of Grayson told his Champion, "I do not wish him to leave this chamber alive."
"As you will it, your Grace."

I don't think anything has been split over more than three issues, excepting the serialized fiction.

Well, exempting the fiction stories like Hammer of the Forge and Siege Against Tolkeen, the only "article" that has been broken across 3 issues is the serialized version of Chaos Earth in issues 17 - 19. It is open to interpretation of course as to whether that was really one article, or rather three seperate ones.
Plenty of articles have been broken across two issues though, including Mesozoic Land by Todd Yoho, Tribes of the Moon by Steve Trustrum, The Quest for Castlerake by E. Emmer, The Fires of Korath by M. Long and of course Jason Richards original Territory of Arzno article from issues 9 and 10.
