They look like the prototype XM-25 Assault Rifles to me.

That's a Light Semper-Fi.

Is that the article you wrote, Josh?

If so, then I do believe that rifle was part of the article itself, if I recall correctly. I don't have my rifter handy, though.

And the PA, like Josh pointed out, is the same as the one in the article as well. I tried to incorporate all that stuff in the opening illustration.

Actually I would say the rifle that fired the 3 round burst is the USA M-160 on page 69. It does have a 3round burst mode.

I don't have the original assignment handy, but I think it's the prototype XM-25 Joshua mentioned (he wrote it after all), but after looking through the issue, I don't think it made it into the final article.

I did artwork for it (as well as putting it in the opening illustration), but obviously since the stats didn't make it in, there is some confusion.

The XM-25 I mentioned is a real world rifle.

Google "XM-25" or "Next Generation US Assualt Rifle."

Oh that thing with the underbarrel 20mm air-bursting rounds? That's what it's called?

I remember doing the illustration for an assault rifle for the article, but I don't remember what it was. I also did one for the shotgun as well.
