If so, then I do believe that rifle was part of the article itself, if I recall correctly. I don't have my rifter handy, though.
And the PA, like Josh pointed out, is the same as the one in the article as well. I tried to incorporate all that stuff in the opening illustration.

Actually I would say the rifle that fired the 3 round burst is the USA M-160 on page 69. It does have a 3round burst mode.

I don't have the original assignment handy, but I think it's the prototype XM-25 Joshua mentioned (he wrote it after all), but after looking through the issue, I don't think it made it into the final article.
I did artwork for it (as well as putting it in the opening illustration), but obviously since the stats didn't make it in, there is some confusion.

Oh that thing with the underbarrel 20mm air-bursting rounds? That's what it's called?
