from your personal experience how long does it normally take from the time Mr. Smith confirms he recieved your submission and waiver until he either rejects or accpets a submission?
I remember days like this when my father took me to the forest and we ate wild blueberries. More than 20 years ago. I was just a boy of four or five. The leaves were so dark and green then. The grass smelled sweet with the spring wind...For us, there is no spring. Just the wind that smells fresh before the storm.

sometimes wayne will E-mail you about whether the article arrived or not if you e-mail him first, though he's pretty busy so it may take some times for him to get back to you.
as for how long before you find out if your article is going to be printed?
any where from "never" to "a couple of weeks" depending how good the article is and where in the process of creating a rifter it arrives at.
i'm still waiting and hoping to find out one of mine will show up in a rifter one day.

For those of you who are waiting you can send Wayne an email asking if he has had a chance to review your submission: rifter@palladiumbooks.com
Put a lot of info in the subject line like your article name and your name like the following:
Subject: Pls confirm receipt of Ogres of the Empire Article by Carl Gleba.
Then state the question in a nice and polite way and hope for a reply. Or you can call and ask to speak to Wayne. I know my friend who submitted the article on making terrain called and Wayne spoke to him about it.
Just be polite and professional.
Carl
