I just recieved my brand new purchase of Boxed Nightmares from ebay. And i love it. Great product. Why hasn't this gotten the 2nd edition treatment, like some of the other palladium products. It's not like they have to start from scratch with totally new material. Just a revision. An update. That wouldn't be too much work. Come on Kev, feed the other products. Please.

I understand that the Robotech licence is something that they feel can bring in a lot of dough. It was pretty successful in the past. Then you have the 800lbs gorilla Rifts, which sells very well. I understand it . I get it. Really, i do. But, the problem is that there are too many palladium games that don't get the support that they should. Example( Systems Failure, After the bomb, Splicers, BTS2. I think a change in strategy is needed here to boost the sales for Palladium. If you show support for whatever game you put out people will buy it. People want a rich game line,to expand their gameworld. Me personally, I never buy games that don't have supplements. I always like a little support for my rpg. Tome Grotesque was announced years ago,for BTS2. Why is that taking so long to put out? It's not like they have to put out a whole lotta comprehensive material for it like a worldbook. I would like to point out that i have been a fan of the Palladium system for a long time. Since the late 80's ("whew, now i'm showing my age") so, i'm not bashing the company. I just wanna see my favorite game company support their other games more.

I think they should shove the two missing core books together and get it out. I ordered them because Tome Grotesque was mention as nearly complete three years ago and now the press release don't mention them. How hard can it be to copy and paste the magic section into it or at least enough to give us an understanding how magic is going to work in the second addition. Dark Conversion works OK creature-wise, but Spirits of Light and Dragon were left out and I'm not going back to by an out of date book for them. I love Palladium Books, but by putting Rifts and the other game lines on back burner for new lines (Robotech & Dead Reign) is really upsetting my group. Robotech does not interest my group and I'm sure Dead Reign may be a good game, but if you can't support the old line why start new ones. I still remember System Failure being a failure and Dead Reign maybe a dead end. I sure hope not. Hard to buy books when nothing coming out accept games were not playing. Hope books starting flowing soon.

I just hope this time they leave out the notes that tell you which stories are ones that have adventures attached to them.

Ive updated some of the materials myself (like the Tazmanian Devils, they become somthing like the supernatural rats in my game). If I get a chance I may post said notes on this page.

not a priority for me - the adventures in Boxed Nightmares can easily be conversed, just as the first ed PF books can be to second ed. what we NEED is the missing the core-books!

I couldnt agree more, but in the meantime I have to deal with the hard truth that the core books arent out yet, so in trying to make lemonade out of lemons I update the old materials to work in today rule system :)
