All depends on what you want.
Kreegohr I envision to be simmilar to say, Romulan bridge interiors (all that imperial flag-waving and dim lighting is great to intimidate the pleebs).

UWW is as varried as their member races; Dwarven ships are very steam-punk, Humans I'd envision to be simmilar in many respects to FF-10 or even FF12 (high tech mixed with baroque). Elves would have very Mimbari like command and control systems with lots of floating displays edged in mystic glyphs, with almost organic lines to the superstructure (crystal and even MDC wood).

CCW; a mixture of Starwars, Mass-effect and Xenosaga. holographic floating displays, lots of interior space and yes..the prissy clean uniforms with Leftenant and Brigadeer and such psuedo "Britania 4-evah" nonsense for naval staff officers and flag-ranks. (they may be the good guys, but gods are they ever prissy panty-waists... JUST like Napoleanic era british navy officers).

For independants, whatever you feel works, based on the technology the world / system may have. Anywhere from the anacronistic "flying bridge" and manual controls of Spacecruiser Yamato, the cluastrophobic interior of an attack submarine, the grease and rust-stain of the Alien movies spacecraft to Stardrecks ( :puke: ) sanatized and pretty much -ahem- beige deck-plan set up.

For center, it would depend on the level/location.

CCW - ST:tNG

UWW - I think Dune isn't a bad comparison

TGE - Star Wars Imperial ships

Very nice pics El Magico.

CCW I see as the command areas of the Babylon 5 ships. (Post Crusade)

FWC I see sort of like the Millenium Falcon.

TGE I can see the Empire from Star Wars.

I can see the UWW as Dune too.

I see the Central Alliance installing the brains of their people as the control units of their ships. I see most of their ships being operated as the bodies of the brains, not just hooked up via headjacks.

I can also see that ships as spartan yet very efficiently built and generally run. I don't think that any incompetent commanders remaining in control for very long. I think that they'd have a very short life.

Ok, cool. What's a Xintrin bTW ? A name of a species or a ship model ?

Short guy with the huge gun is a Xintrin. They're a race that has reorganized itself into a giant merchant guild. Everything is for sale to a Xintrin. They're former enemies of humanity-turned-allies.

Here's one doing what they do best, sealing a deal.

Check my Riftspace thread on the Rifts boards for info on future updates to the site. Glad its caught your eye.

I imagine that they have purple velvet for skin...that make them huggable

Don't forget to post your new RCC for this new Race over on the RCCs thread, El Magico. We can always use new ones!

Since no one bothered to read it the first time..I re-iterate the point.

Pseronaly I like having the independant nations more like Xenosaga.
But that's just me ;)

For how the artwork in the earlier PW books look..sorry.. faaarrrrr too starwars'y and Stardreckish for words.

In-game, the CCW is starting to pull away from their pole-up-somewhere-uncomfortable image, and going to a more 'efficeint yet aestheticly pleasing' style. Like the house Atradies vessels as seen in the sci-fi network mini-series of Dune. Polsihed ceramic and brushed metals in rounded surfaces.

The Kreeghor are still 'low-light and banners high' for their image. NOTHING like having an underlit face on your enemies screen to make the pleebs think twice (even though the Kreeghor are still tacticaly...umm..."DIRECT" )

I see the Kreegor more like the Klingons. No comforts, just basics.

well I see Kreegor more like the Scarrens from Farscape.

I hope the Nebari will be the Big Bad for a New Farscape show.

one thing to keep in mind is that many of the factions in the three galaxies are composed of multiple races ships.

for example, the CCw has wolfen, noro, human, amid others. and some of their ships are older designs created by one particular race. thus they should each have a different asthetic, even within the same classes.

so i'd say the Hunter class, as an example of pre-CCW Wolfen design, probably has a bridge with elements similar to that of the NX-01 from Enterprise. practical tech, but in a design that is both asthetically decent, and reinforces the whole "alpha wolf" mentality of the crew, with the captain in a central spot and all others either looking at him, or lower down than him.

i'd say the human asthetic pre-CCW was a BSG esque "utilitarian" design, with a command center deck/pit dominated by a big plotting table and lots of crew stations.

the Noro tending towards a stargate "atlantean" style, with empahasis on crystal shapes.

post CCw the three started adopting elements of the others styles they liked or thought useful. so post CCW human built ships might have gone for a "Galactic empire" type walkway and pit design, thus adding an element of "alpha wolf" to the command deck style, a wolfen might move onto a more "TMP" style by adopting the smooth consoles and cyrstal like shapes of the Noro, and of course, the Noro no longer have their own warships.

i'd say Runners tend to styles more like the Nostromo/Sulaco/Firefly on the cheap end, and "trek: TOS" on the higher end of the spectrum. smugglers and small business traders can't really afford luxury, and practical would generally be the first concern.

the UWW definately would have a range of styles. the Dwaves probably have a very steampunk/techno-gothic thing going. lots of metal and pipes and stuff.
Elves i'd say probably have ships like the Jurian ships in Tenchi Muyo, lots of organic curves and materials involved.
Asgardians? not sure. i'd bet they love to add runes and nordic artwork to anything they build/buy though.

the Kreeghor......Goa'uld. definately. golden walls and consoles embossed with stories of the great deeds of the Kreeghor emperors, egyptian and greek elements, ect. it seems to me that a race that was in the "stone and stick" age prior to being enslaved by splugorth are likely to perpetuate their own version of splugorthian archetecture from lack of other options. just now the bridges of a ship have a throne for a Kreeghor, not a slime pit... (and lets face it, Kreeghor exterior ship asthetics are close to goa'uld ones anyway)

Promethian ships probably have a major stargate asgardian feel to them. lots of hidden tech, minimalist design, and few sharp angles.

the Golgan's....hmm...as frog dudes...i'd say Mon Calamari from star wars, just less white. very techno-organic looking.
