Should palladium make A book of different spaceship ( with picture in the book and detail stuff ) , tech level should not be the same and allow to make ship from jet to capital ship like the SDF ship that are 3 miles long or larger ,to space dock from each major players and BIG company like N.E ( how the day light you say this name ).

what do you think please reply(thank you for reply)

If I hadn't already written it, I'd say it was a great idea

Fleets of the Three Galaxies should be coming out early next year (so they tell me, anyway), and will feature rough guidlines for creating space fighters, frigates, cruisers, and flagships.

Rifter 34 has a nice set of rules to build small scale player character ships. That's what tides me over until we get Braden's book. Unfortunately it seems that the book is out of print.

IF one doesn't mind a little number crunching and fudging; use the Aliens Unlimmited; Galaxy Guide to create your vessels.
Scale up or down accordingly on the MDC / Speeds / sizes as needed.

The lower tech end (non-FTL drive capabilties) can also be supplemented by Mutants in Orbit(which has a lot of the same stuff from the Galaxy Guide, but is also couched in MDC terms)...

yes i know that but really there should be a dedicated book or books set and allow players , GM to make fighetrs to spacedocks for PW ,( not just space station which is really really cool) not to have to convert from other PB like Mutants in Orbit or heros unlimited .that player can go buy the rules set help gaming fun that way player dont do the following ( i have over 40 players )
dont get me wrong i like those books

there should of been a book for a while now dicated in PW , again palladium has done a OK job to good if they sit and put all together they will make awsome book dedicted for PW and ask for info from the players
on top of that there should be some level of technology like pre-rift to dimentional technology ( or i say areally hight tech to a low tech tech from different alien races) and finally if space is a problem then they shuold make one and the the rest on PDF like RIFTER 00

It'll be nice when Braden's book comes out. I know I'm going to get it! There is also a thread here in this section of the forum with a lot Starships on it. Many for users of the forums. Try some of them out. And then there is always KItsune's. He's got a lot of ships over there for Phase World. http://www.kitsune.addr.com/Rifts/Rifts-PW-Vehicles.htm Just something to think of.

yes this a awesome web site i give him credit , and thank you for his info , now i got to get my color laser printer , and 1000 pages to print to put in a book in sheet protector . well this very very good but PB can blow the water of this .and i don't have to deal with player say not in the rules or made up by someone not approve by PB . i have about 40 plus player that are starting to buy PB and try to follow his rule systems . this year i will have many GM to this year starting this year there are 50 plus player in September , GM will be a total of 5 or 6 for over 50 players

High Level are like the CCW and TGE they have master anti-matter allowing ther ships a higher speed,a more powerful forcefield,control over gravity allowing big ships to landed on the surface of plantes.
Weapons with a longer ranges and other things.

Middle level,can't go as Fast or as Far as CCW and TGE,s ships,Forcefield but not as powerful or long lasting,size limited to ships that can land,lower ranges and other things.

Low level,new to deep Space,slow ships,weak weapons,low range,no Forcefield,Spacial landing ships.

There are literally a couple dozen ships on the Riftspace site, all you really need to do to adapt them to Phaseworld is add variable shields. I did the art and write-ups for those.

There are also a bunch on my Amalgaverse site but those are not quite as phaseworld compatible, as they are made to interact more with Robotech and Manhunter ships. Phalanx did the art for most of these.

YES I LOVE THIS TO BUT WHEN YOU HAVE OVER 40 PLAYERS SOMETIMES THEY GET TOGETHER AND NOTICE THEY MAKE A SMALL FLEET , WHICH LATER THEY NED ONE BIG SHIP NOT A FIRATER SHIP ( FOR ME ONE BIG TARGET) AND NEED TO MODIFY A SHIP THE GM'S HAVE TO SIT AND FIGURE WHAT WILL WORK AND PLAYER ADD TO MODIFY MODIFY AND MODIFY .SOMETIME IF WE HAD E A CHART TO MAKE AN MDC SHIP IN PW, WE HAVE TO DO IT FROM THE GROUND UP USE SHIP IN PW ALREADY ( DOESN'T ALWAYS HELP BUT WE MANAGE )

I thought i was good when I ran 22 to 24 players at the Palladium open house.

in real life in high school where i work ,we have 20 to 3 around ,but it can get out of hand when we hit 40 ( forgot i get help learning GM and the players help me too , but new one those everyone chips in helps a lot )

this year i am told there going up 50 plus new gm that a total of 5 steady it going to TOTAL war ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha evil GM laugh

this an underground club

i will be able to divide 10 to 15 per GM at worst at best less then 10 per GM

Sounds like an interesting set of groups. Just one thing if you are the head GM you can take any material and make it canon in your game. If one player complains explain to him that you are the next best thing to god when the game is running. If he complains you could always make life tough for his character.

..Two things; One: look at the dates on the product, Heroes hasn't had a chart done in like, 20 years. Two: Palladium Books has less than ten people on staff, and several lines to work on. Impatience isn't going to get you anywhere.

..Many of us have been playing for decades, we're used to waiting. The thing to remember is this: As the GM, you make the rules. House rules are the GM's perogative and the accepted norm in RPGs.

yes set four to five table work with time and ALL players must take turn ,write there ideas ,and last location ,action , set them to different missions but related if one fail the other team has to make up for the team that fails ,( which always happen )
that a start set tech/magic player with OCC type ,use their weakness , let them fight one another it helps a lot ,
"fight form with and from the out side and one self "
and still complete the mission hundred or thousand pf live depend on you player ( this reminds me of bad company video games RPG style)

i will say this there are day that it is very hard,but fun

well there are days that one or two per table will compliant i remind everyone no god players i too am not a god
and explain the rule that are available in the books. i have a comment box i tell everyone take i will take the good ,the bad , the ugly my mistake ,BUT WILL NOT TAKE KISS UP. it work OK to very good most of the time ,i say the player know me well for four year at a time then go of their way in life

Yes that true but i try avoiding use "House rules" for this can cause well you , it not that i can handled it but can some unexpected situations ,and yes it take PB awhile but if your making a space saga like PW world their should be chart to make ships to space dock in PW and printing the space then do PDF

It answers my question, but my players do understand the I'm the ultimate judge where my material comes from, not them. Good luck dealing with your players! You have my sympathies!
I have a lot of material of my own that I use too.

yes i am going to need this year and lastly we need a book from PB that has at least a chart that GM and players can use .and yes being a GM sometimes putting my foot down when there are no rules for making a space fighter to a space dock which we sure need badly .

That is one definative way of doing it. I'll keep having fun designing my own. I use it as a reference.

you could always just use the galaxy guide book for HU2. jsut convert everything from SDC to MDC.

But at this time there is no unified book for building your own Starship, power armor, robot, or weapon. Although people still create their own material.

that's the whole point too many "house rules "can damages a game setting , i seen this happen one to manyyyyyyyyyyyy times ,even GM who are starting , a good place to this would be rifter or ( in PDF)
