Tattoo Power Arrow Question
Do Power Arrows count as Power Tattoos or Magic Weapon tattoos for purposes of the impairments taken from getting one?

Re: Tattoo Power Arrow Question
A short explaination of my logic here: A Power Arrow Tattoo is more limited than a power tattoo. It can only be used in combination with a Magic Bow tattoo, not independantly, and usually has less effects than the full power tattoo. Because of those limits, I was considering it a Magic Weapon Tattoo.

An Arrow is a weapon.
A Power Arrow Tattoo is a tattoo of a weapon.
Therefore, A power arrow tattoo is a weapon tattoo.

Any Palladium writers care to comment? Something slightly more official would not hurt.

Palladium writers can't give offical answers to any book they didn't write. And Kevin I think was the only writer of Splynn

Re: Tattoo Power Arrow Question
I would make them give the same penalties as power tattoos.
Power arrows allow the T-Man to send the effects of a power tattoo over a greater distance and range. And as also stated earlier, as an imperfect combination of power and weapon tattoos, the worse of the two penalties should be used.
Another question to consider, since they cost twice the PPE for T-Men who don't have 6 or more of them, does that mean they cost 4 times as much for non T-Men?

Re: Tattoo Power Arrow Question
First, yes, it costs four times the PPE cost to use the Power Arrows if your are not a Tattooed man, as it costs the T Archer. The same way it costs a non tatooed man four times what it costs a Monster Man to activate a creature Tattoo. The "doubled" cost is the normal base price of the tattoo to use.
The logic that the Power Arrows, being imperfect, are more damaging than they otherwise would be makes a degree of sense.
I had another question I hope someone answers: Can a Tattooed Enchanted bow be used to fire normal MDC arrows and inclict mega-damage?
