Re: Forgotten People
I want to see descendants of the True Atlanteans who built the pyramids on the islands at the edge of the world, the Gruzzia islands, and the Floenries. I'd really like them not to be standard True Atlanteans. Take your pick: Grimbor or Ogres . Grimbor make perfect sense, especially if you're famil...

Re: Campaign Ideas
Hey, glad to help! I hope your campaign goes well! Im also thinking that the Minotaurs might be guarding a breach into the Nightlands. And deeper into the ruin/temple the more its influenced by the Nightlands. Though if I use any of the Nightbane monsters ill probably cut their sdc in half and tone...

Re: Campaign Ideas
My dilemma: I have no idea what kind of things to include in the impending dungeon crawl. I dont want it to seem like just another dungeon. I want world changing secrets and threats. I want the players to realize that their actions in this dungeon can shape the future of the world. Do they find the...

Campaign Ideas
Currently my campaign is based on the hook line sinker If Bones Could Talk from the Baalgor Wastelands book. Started pcs at level 3 in the city of Troker. They had all been hired to perform a simple job, retrieve a map that had been stolen. They performed the task and upon completion, the scholar th...

Circle of Resurrection??
Last week my players stumbled into an ancient dwarven ruin. Its infested with Zavor, and everywhere messages are scrawled on walls and doors not to enter. Dont open the doors etc.. during the early years of the elf/dwarf wars a summoner was trying to open up a dimensional rift, and a host of zavor s...

Re: Baalgor Wastelands Questions
Your best bet for a scale would be the main book map of the world. Figure the dimensions and then create a scale to use for the maps. Or wait until Hotrod gets around to properly mapping the region, It's on the to-do list, though I could come up with something. Scale changes with latitude. I would ...

Looking for Some GM Advise
I have a few questions for all of ny fellow GM's.. #1. How much is to much? Gold, treasure, loot. When my players stumble into an ancient ruin thats been sealed for centuries, just how much treasure is to much? #2. Magic Items: I feel like the "enchantments" from alchemist shops are more o...

Baalgor Wastelands Questions
So im running a campaign that begins in the Baalgor Wastelands, drawing heavily on inspiration from one of the Hook, line, and Sinkers in the back of the BW book. But the maps in the book do not offer any kind of scale. Can anyone offer up some insight on this for me? Thank you! PS: if there is inde...

Re: Monstrous Creations
Glad you survived your encounter. The tale of how two party members and a half dozen hunters npcs (in red shirts) got slaughtered by four boars takes to long to tell but its a funny one. The idea of a vicious hogzilla I've always found deliciously wicked yeah... that was a blast! I'm so glad i purc...

Re: Monstrous Creations
THUNDER HOOVES According to some, they were created by Nut (the mother of Osiris, Set, Isis, and Nephthys) as a gift to her husband/brother Geb (father of the gods). When one of the Old Ones kidnapped Nut to prevent Geb from participating in the Chaos War, the ancient god released the herd and allo...
