Animate object

Well, here's another stupid Vek question. Does Animate Object work on Rune weapons? They are objects after all. But, they are sentient as well.

I'd allow it, but unlinked damage. In my games unlinked rune weapons do normal weapon damage until they link with a wielder.

If you allow it, consider giving the Rune Weaoin a standard saving throw

Kiralon and Okey-Dokey both have good points. I would combine the two and run with it.
