Congratulations to PAUL SHELTON for winning the the RIFTS CCG Open House World Championship 2007! His Cyberworks deck was solid enough to best a Coalition, Xiticix (mine), and a Free Quebec opponent. Congratulations, and you can flaunt the title proudly until the next Open House (whenever that may be).
And an Honorable Mention to Colleen Bruning for placing Second in the Tournament. Her Free Quebec deck withstood another Coalition deck and claimed the second round bye.
Thanks for showing up and playing. Next time I may plan for the whole Sunday to a tournament. Perhaps since Preacher and Myself had let go of over 300 cards (mostly Commons/Uncommons, but a few Rares) there will be more out there willing to put together a deck and play.
For all those who may not have known, the Cards found at the Registration area were dontated by Preacher and Myself. I watched as it didn't take long for many of you to decend upon the box and gouge out chunks of cards (you damned vultures! ). Hopefully next year you will put your new acquires to the test.

Brandon was seen during the Tutorial & Deckbuilding, but nowhere during the Tournament. Same for Wayne, but I did play Wayne as well (and lost sadly). But only got in one game, and we all need a best 2 out of 3. I'll make up those games during Gen Con.
