I was reading the Hartigal Section of the Anvil Galaxy book 5 and came across the part where they sell a "knockoff", which isn't quite as good but good enough. Big issue should be recreating the brain programming which should be unique. Those cybernetic brain chip slots are pretty trick though.
For my part, a "knockoff for sale" isn't that bad in terms of MDC,
PS, and so on, but the purchaser must find a brain (and a volunteer,
for that matter) to use it.
Hartigal might pose as something "not NE", but they still guard
the secrets of the Naruni.
Just use the equivalent in Borg-builders rules ? That !@#$% Naruni Mecha-knight is worth like 25 million, which is waaaaaaaaaaay overpriced.
A Mechaknight is waaay overpriced, but how much would
a third country goverment pay for like a modern MBT or
jet (given that there is no concurrence)? So, they are
expensive on RIFTS Earth - not in the 3Galaxies.
I'll have to see how much a borg made with standard rules comes out to be.
I think some features are not aviable for "standard" borgs,
but all in all, the chassis will not cost over like 4 or 5 million
credits, possibly less.
The brain however... Again, it is not for sale.
