A coin which projects Luck Curse upon command. The ill magic is sealed within a watch which prevents leaking bad luck until the command is given by a switch, button, or maybe a command word. The person carrying the coin suffers the effects, but so do any assassins. Everyone's combat bonuses are knocked down to zero, allowing the coin carrier a chance to get away.

I've started a game where the parapsychologist is leading the others to find someone who seems to be using whats called "The Moorehead Pen". Its a object belived to be cursed and once belonged to a very creative writer name Abraham Moorehead who suffered severe bouts of writers block. the legend goes that one day in a fit of anger and frustration he stabbed a servant girl to death with this pen. While his mind suddenly snapped just then, he also suddenly had a bout of inspiration to write and he grabbed fresh paper. Believing this girls death was his muse he used her blood for the ink.
The legend continues that who who use the blood of someone they've killed with this pen can write masterpeices beyond their ability.

I have another one on the way in my game, its a blank house key and it will unlock any door in any house you wish... however, its got an unknown attribute that it alerts the owner via a type of psychic flash (gets a funny feeling) that their home is being invaded.
I set it up to where the previous owner of the key died via a shotgun in the hands of a homeowner.

Re: Any ideas for Cursed items?
There was an interesting issue of Poison Elves about a magic lamp. The lamp granted any three wishes. The catch was that the magic didn't create anything original but rather stole from other people. Even powers came from energy stolen from a powerful wizard. The victims also were able to trace the crimes back to the user of the lamp. I thought this was a better variation of the cliche' of the badly worded wish curse.
