I didn't realize that Mr. Skinner wanted to start up his own line of strip clubs...

You don't have to edit it out.

Besides, I would sort of like to mercilessly make fun of the situation...

;)

On a slightly more helpful note,

The start of the article seems just a little odd to me.

Thomas Dascomb wrote:Many of you have probably heard about the much publicized event of the year, the New Age Grandstand Art Exhibit, a conglamoration of New Age Psychic readings and merchandise.

Why the assumption that most of the readers have probably already heard about this? I know the article says 'much publicized' but that seems a relative term. In my hometown there was an annual psychic fair that advertised on the local TV and Radio stations so locally it was 'much publicized' although most people forgot the ads as soon as they were over.

I suppose what I'm getting at is, is this a journalist for a new age magazine? A local journalist? Or was this event really as well circulated as indicated later in the sentance?

Either way, perhaps an ad on the fourm leading up to the event a week or so in advance would be appropriate? Then we would all have probably heard about the much publicized event.

Really though, this is just a very minor nit pick. Feel free to disregard it.

I cannot help with the English (obviously) but I am curious to know what are Skinner's clientele?

Glad I could be of assistance.

People who want to be "erased." Basically, he creates new identities for those who have the money. He helps good people who need to hide (for whatever reason), bad people running from the law, and so forth. However, he keeps their identity; in case they want it back, or for other uses. (If Clarity finds out about this, thing will get VERY rocky between them).

However, until I can bring that into a good adventure for Lazlo, I'm wanting to keep that quiet.

P.S. And thanks for the ideas, Cyber. They've really helped.
Oi...are they married? Rocky means not stable or something?

No, he's more or less her mentor. He's thirty-something, she's somewhere in her teens, and he's actually quite decent for a man, and never tries to take advantage of her or her innocence. But her impression of him as a saint is in truth, really far off the mark.
Ah, such naive young girl. Reminds of myself once in real life, except the opposite feeling. Instead of the saint I thought he was the idiot, without culture and intelligence.

Now, I'm deciding whether to keep her in a perpetual state of naivete, or have her "grow up" to the ways of the world . . . both present fun possibilities. :)

Yay for discovering for discovering humanity in our fellows! Or for knocking them off pedastals. Or falling off.

Be that as it might, maintaining a 'perpetual summer' character can be hard. After too long, it can to start to seem forced or artificial. That is because we know that people grow and change over time. It has worked well enough for comics like Charlie Brown and Calvin and Hobbes. Would it work as well for the show, Supernatural?

In the end of course, the choice is yours although I would like to see Clarity grow up. But not too fast. :D

Oh the horror she must face when her heart is crushed to learn about Ethan. Yes she is the 18 years old girl but she drools on herself like the 3 months old baby

Perhaps she should become Nemesis' apprentice. That'll grow her up in a hurry. ;)

 Something like that . . . 8)

However, she wouldn't even consider becoming Nem's apprentice. She's not that grown up yet. :-P

(Oh, the talk Ethan had with her concerning Nemesis and his innuendos . . . she's still in the dark, by the way. He finally had to tell her straight up what the heck the perverted mercenary was talking about. Needless to say, "   " barely covers her feelings, and it'll take the afternoon for her to post her well-meant censure. )

Too bad. I had a line up of innuendo's to cover off continued misunderstandings for some time. I was wondering which side would cave first. :D

Hey, when it comes to caving, I'll always cave first, especially when it leads off topic. I got sick of the jokes derailing every thread. They're funny for a bit, but I like to keep threads at Lazlo on topic, if I can.

I understand where you're coming from. Personally, I'm just glad that Lazlo has been seeing some activity lately.
