PFRPG books for 2014
If remember what I saw at Detroit Fanfare correctly, I believe Land of the Damned 3, and Mysteries of Magic 2 are planned for 2014. I'm happy to see something for PFRPG. It's still my preferred fantasy setting, and I still have one character (Cap'n Hel) trapped in LOTD, by the time I get to run that character again, maybe LOTD3 will be out... Rurga wills it!
Re: PFRPG books for 2014
Palladium Fantasy Time isn't the same as everyone else's
Planned means maybe within 10 years, and 20 years if they can get away with it.
A release date of sometime in 2014 will likely mean sometime after 2015.
and boy do I wish I was joking.
But It will be good to see them if they turn up.

I wouldn't expect LoD3 in 2013. Or at all really. The previous completed book was entirely canned after a falling out between the writer and Kevin. Mysteries of Magic -maybe- in another few years if we get lucky. Even still, word from the wise and disillusioned, don't hold your breath.
Getting a mage to tell you where the hydra is...10,000 gold
Hiring a summoner... 40,000 gold
Hiring one hundred 10th level mercenaries... 98,567 gold
Giving a hydra skull to your necromancer... priceless
Board? Read bad fan fiction!

I for one would love to see MoM2 and LotD3. They would be money better spent then on some rifts book.
May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.

Re: PFRPG books for 2014
While it would be fun to see the final Land of the Damned book, there's enough information in the first book of the series to put something worthwhile together. There's the Minotaur Nations, and there's the Citadel. Both have a general overview, and the structure of the Land of the Damned book is such that there's a lot of room for interpretation (Look at the rumors section; the GM can make any of them true or false at his/her discretion).
I'd be more inclined to see the Land of South Winds, Old Kingdom, Phi and Lopan, the Devil's Mark, more Mysteries of Magic, another campaign book a la Island at the Edge of the World, and/or a Wolfen Wars product.

+1
My apologies up front if my posts come across as argumentative or crass. It is not a personal attack on anyone, just my blunt style. I bear no ill will towards anybody that plays Palladium Games (there’s not enough of us to hold a grudge).

Well thers Phi and Lopan and Land of South Winds.
Well they may add more Islands or New Continent.

Re: PFRPG books for 2014
I hope the "Official" Palladium Fantasy material that has been published in the Rifter 64, helps stimulate and ignite the spark for PFantasy for 2014. I campaigned for it and enjoyed doing the artwork for it, and I hope it is a nice jump start for 2014 for this setting.
As a fan of the Ursa Rex, I really want to do so much more for this setting and to introduce some new ideas and or updated visuals that have been brewing, but we will see what all I can do and when. You all are the best, and though I am first natured towards Splicers, I am really enjoying the Palladium Fantasy fanbase as a strong 2nd.

I hope they get something out in 2014....it was such a disappointment that nothing was put out for the 30th anniversary this year.....

Thank You very much Dark Elf and coming from your expertise and your fandom of the draconians, I am humbled. I hope it will get the energy flowing for fantasy in 2014! I will be pushing for it, especially with the recent rise back in the fantasy genre in other mediums.

I'm sorry for that. I was supposed to have the Tombs of Gersidi done this year and never got a chance to even start it. Now that I'm working two jobs... who can tell...

Mike - You can only do what you can do. They still could have done something that wasn't a book to celebrate it. I special limited run T-shirt. Something. Don't sweat it dude ![Okay :ok:](./images/smilies/bigok.gif)

Same thing DE - you can only do what you can do. The company should have set a priority for this on their own is my point. It's just.....disappointing that they didn't.

Did you buy mysteries of magic?
Also hades and dyval are more aligned to palladium fantasy than rifts IMHO.
