Camels
Camels exist on the Palladium World (they are mentioned in the Baalgor Wastelands book), but they are not included in Monster & Animals. Does anyone know if they are statted out anywhere? If not in Palladium Fantasy, then perhaps in one of the other Palladium Books game lines? Thanks.

Re: Camels
The only place I could fine a Camels stats was in the TMNT (page 35) core book. But it was in the format for making a mutant animal ala HU or ATB.
Maybe there is a reference in the Rifts Africa book.

Re: Camels
i've checked every african, asian, american west, and even austrilian sourcebook for rifts and even checked robotech's "new world order" from 1st ed and genesis prits from 2nd ed, and while i've found a lot of references to camels (in skills or setting description), no stats.

Re: Camels
Greetings and Salutations. Sorry, I had forgotten all about this thread. As others have stated, I don't believe there's anything in the books. I remember doing research on them because I was going to stat them out for a project (which I got distracted from). Here are my notes (if interested) ...
Dromedary Camel (single humps)
• 6 feet (1.8 m) to 6 1/2 feet (2 m) at the shoulder; 10 feet (3 m) long, 20 inch tail
• 551 pounds (250 kg) to 1500 pounds (680 kg).
• With their long necks they can reach 11 1/2 feet (3.5 m).
• In wintertime can go 50 days without water (gathering moisture from plants they eat), but in summertime may only go 5 days without water.
• Riding dromedary: 80-120 miles per day (128.75 to 193.12 km) carrying a rider.
• Baggage camel: Carry up to 992 pounds (450 kg), but usually only 441 (200 kg). [[Alteration: 330 pounds (150 kg) comfortably, 1/3rd max, two sources to support information.]] Can travel 40 miles per day (64.37 km). Travel about 2 mph (3.25 km) fully loaded and 2 1/2 mph (4 km) unloaded.
• Normal 'amble speed' is 3 mph (5 km), working camel typically covers 25 miles a day (40 km). Racing Camels can reach 12 mph (20 km) at the gallop.
• Life span of 40 years.
• Racing: 8-9 mph for hours at a time.
• Docile and sweet under a caring hand, but stubborn and angry if ill treated.
• Racing camel: Top speed 40 mph, 18 mph for one hour, or 7 mph for 18 hours.
• Racing camel: Top speed 40 mph, 25 mph for one hour, or 12 mph for 18 hours.
Bactrian Camel (two humps)
• 6-7.6 ft high at the shoulders, 10 feet (3 m) long, 20 inch tail.
• 1320 pounds -2200 pounds (600-1000 kg)
• 25-45 year life span.
• Can carry up to 600 pounds at 40 miles per day.
• Can run at a speed of 10-20 mph (16-32 km).
• In wintertime can go 50 days without water (gathering moisture from plants they eat), but in summertime may only go 5 days without water.
• National Geographic: Up to 50 year life span, over 7 feet (2.1 m) tall at the hump, 1800 pounds (816 kg).
• Docile and sweet under a caring hand, but stubborn and angry if ill treated.
Hope some of that helps. Farewell and safe journeys.

Maybe there is a reference in the Rifts Africa book.
Hypothetically though couldn't you use this as a template for a non-mutant animal variety by not spending any BIO-E (except on power/abilities of creature) and treating certain other aspects of character creation as non-applicable (IQ attribute for ex.)?
