There are mummies all over the PF series, at least 1st edition, as I recall.

Wish I had my books here.

If you get a chance you might want to watch Digging for the Truth episode on mummies. It will be on again March, 24 at 3:00pm on the History Channel. I think you will find it interesting.

For a extremely in depth game version of mummies you can check out both of White Wolf's versions. Work up a personal conversion and go to town. If nothing else the books are good resources for story material and the perspective of the mummy.

I don't know about mummies but this topic seems to be a zombie.

In any case, the linen wrappings would be mystical in nature and so an AR isn't that much of a stretch; it's a walking mummy after all. ;-)

Sure, I was in basic training when you first posted.

Mummies in 1st ed. BTS are necromantic robots, and an 11th level ritual. They had as much SDC as a hard armor vest, but could only be damaged with fire (including magic fire) or explosives. No A.R. or H.F., but they were immune to magic (except circle of protection) and psychic powers (except fire). Three attacks of 2d6+5, speed 7, no combat bonuses.

I always wanted to have the PFRPG Mummy as a reoccurring villian versus a Lizard Mage from Monsters & Animals as another reoccurring villian.

Sell him as a serpent man, and Mythos-inspired goodness overtakes your BTS game.
